    in my opinion multisim has too many pins missing on the Ics, has a lot of passive components, but much to few ICs that are needed for many simulations.

    in my opinion of multisim is a poor product which has a high failure rate, a lot of passive components which is alright but the essential ics are omitted, almost all the ics are missing pins what national instruments should do is go back to the drawing board and came out with a product that is functionable.

    A single phase fully controlled converter is supplying power to a separately excited DC motor drive of 1.75 kW, 200V, 10A, 1200 rpm. The armature resistance and armature inductance values are respectively 1.2 Ω and 1 mH. The supply to the converter (rms value) is 220 V at 50 Hz. Obtain the current and voltage waveforms in the source side and on the motor side (i) when the motor is working at a speed of 1000 rpm, while delivering rated torque. Calculate the firing angle of the converter theoretically for this operating condition and verify that the motor’s working through simulation. (ii) Change the firing angle abruptly to 60° and check what happens to the speed of the motor after the steady state is attained. Get the waveforms for both operating conditions. (iii) Further, if SCR device 1 (T1) gets short circuited, show how it affects the functioning of the converter.

      The truth table is added while editing. There is no option to include truth table.

      I think you forgot to connect the 2 and 3 pins to 9 and 8 of IC 74ls90 for the segment.

    I dont know why I tried many jk flipflop multisim circuits and tried them but wht I do with interactive digital constant and probe doesn't work. It works when I use double throw switch, led and ground.....

    What is the reason behind setting pulse period 0.01s instead of 0.02s? As input source frequency is 50Hz.

      If the time is 0.01s the scr is triggered at early. If it is 0.02s take some time to trigger (on)

    I did this exactly same circuit/procedure on MultiSim 14.0 and it did not oscillate. Also, pretty much every other oscillator circuit seems to not oscillate on MultiSim 14.0, any ideas?

      F = 1/2πRC This the formula assume capacitor value and apply the rest of the value.
