So Pretty
Thanks!
Very Sweet T-pot !
I appreciate it!
CooL
Thanks!
Wow, you truly picked the perfect glaze for the shape of the dish, it looks incredible.
Thank you so much! I love how it turned out.
Pretty glaze combo. Can you possibly put in the description of what glazes you use for each piece?
Thanks! I'll work on that. This one is iron lustre, dark green, and textured turquoise layered on each other.
so good thank you.
Glad you liked it!
You make it look so easy!
Thanks!
Nice I'm Indian potter
Cool!
Thank you for showing the whole story 😊
Of course!!
How many pounds of clay
I think I used between 3-4 pounds
How much clay for these mugs? Thanks
I don't remember for this mug exactly, but I usually use between 1.5 and 1.75 lbs when making mugs.
Really far to fast to watch - I'd love to be able to really see your work.
Nice, Sara! It's always good to see how other potters create. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
Quite that off don't do on a bob
I love the colours thank you for sharing! What glazes did you use? I see probably it’s mayco, but which one?
Thanks! I used aurora green and amaryllis from Mayco on this vase
Thank you!
So cool color.
Thanks!
Love how you just kept going 🤙
Thanks! I think it worked out in the end.
It has tons of character, and the glaze is cool. :)
Thanks!
No worries about the way it looks 🙂Does it work well as a teapot?
It does! It's being used mostly as decor for now though.
Beautiful cup.
Thanks!
You make it look like making the spout is easy but omg it’s so hard 😭😭 I’m struggling so bad. Thanks for the video, though!
Spouts are hard! It takes a lot of practice to get them, but I believe in you! I still struggle with them too. I'm glad you like the video!
You make nice video's Sarah, but way too fast. I know these video's are always sped up, which is fine, but this is way too fast. Please slow it down a little. Could you give some info on the glazes you are using too? thanks and keep posting
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback too. For this piece I used Midnight Blue on the exterior, Ironstone over Midnight Blue on the Interior, and dripped Seaweed Green on Textured Turquoise over Midnight Blue for the smaller bowl. All of the glazes are from Amaco.
I saw one glaze is Ironstone. What is the other?
Deep Sienna Speckle

Iron Lustre and Blue Lagoon
Beautiful ! very, very good Sara
Thank you so much!!
nice
Thanks!
Perfect for my earrings and keys
For sure!
Really pretty. Can you tell me the glaze you used?
Thanks! I used blue lagoon from amaco with some dark green layered on top.
Thank you so much for sharing! It turned out beautiful with a perfect shape, like a little sweet house with a cute roof 😍😍! And congratulation on the firing too! We know how difficult is it…🤪 What kind of glaze did you use?
Thanks! I appreciate it! I used the champagne quartz and lavender mist glazes from speedball.
@@saraflynn thank you!
What a great piece! Thanks for sharing….and inspiring ❤ question…did you put a small air hole in the piece before letting it dry down to leather hard/trimming stage? I’m always on the fence about not adding the hole, but haven’t tried it.
Very pretty!
Thank you!!
This is so so cute 😍, what glaze did you use? It looks like the froggie sit in the pond 🤩🤩
Thanks! I used dark green, seaweed, and textured turquoise from Amaco on the inside of this mug
Thank you!
What were the glazes you used? I love the effect you got with those colors!
Thanks! I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I used dark green, seaweed, vert lustre, and Art Deco green on this piece (all from amaco).
The Three Tree or maybe the tree three planters turned out absolutely amazing 🤩🤩 thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I appreciate it!!
❤
Thanks!
Looks beautiful
Thank you!!
Thank you Sara that was an excellent video because you showed all the steps in fast motion.
Glad you liked it!!
GORGEOUS!!!
Thank you!
I sure appreciate you sharing your skill and technique. I like the shape you made. I appreciate you going from start to finish. I am making these for grandkids for Christmas. I have four done so far, but just the closing of the form. I am not sure yet if I like the forms I have done. I will have to double check on Monday when I go back into the studio I go to. I will need to make 30 to get 22. You do such beautiful work!
Thank you so much! I am sure your grandkids will love them!
عالی
Thanks!
Such a beautiful vase- I just asked this same question in one of your other videos but I'm curious what glaze you used? :)
I appreciate it! For this one I layered palladium, dark green, and seaweed from Amaco.
What glaze did you use? Turned out so beautiful!
Thanks! I layered dark green, textured turquoise, and storm from Amaco on this piece.
I don't know why you don't have more subs, this was really cool to watch ❤
Thank you so much!
May I ask if the wobbling of the lid on top of the body has caused any problem to the connection of both?
Of course! Not that I can tell from using it. I was mainly trying to thin out the walls of the lid so that it could sit over the raised side of the lip which keeps it in place. It did not need to be very exact and centered for that to happen.
sara excellent demo, video, and your technique is great , Thanks for sharing I have a question how do you keep the top and bottom from sticking or do you fire them separately....
Thank you! Sometimes I fire jars together and just leave the area that they touch unglazed. For this piece though, I fired them separately and just left the bottom rim of the lid that touched the kiln shelf unglazed.
Thank you for sharing, it's nice piece of pottery 😊
Thank you!
Beautiful color 😊
Thanks!
NIce save. I'm getting the impression your wheel generally spins too fast (I know the video is sped up), and you may be raising your hands too slowly. Have you looked at the distance between the pull rings? They should be about half your finger width apart.
Thanks for the advice! I'll consider it next time I'm throwing
No mistakes, just happy accidents. It's nice to follow along as you gradually get better at the craft!
Thanks! I appreciate that!
Love it 💚 great job👏
Thank you!
If you always throw inward towards the center of the pot it would be WAY easier. Just saying.😃
Thanks for the advice!
