I understand you feeling like that and I do agree to an extent, I believe at least the CC's that focus on the game provide valuable information on the game like Lusewing and CallmePancake for example. Myself, I enjoy talking about the things that interest me the most. Where I mostly sit and answer these sort of questions is actually on my live stream over on twitch. I read and respond to all questions I possibly can. I'll absolutely take this thought into consideration for my next video though for sure! Thank you for the input

@@Ragnarrlokk You know what - I'd like to apologize to you. I did not mean to make light of your video. I'm frustrated with DoD, not you. The video was very informative and well made, and while I wish DoD was more substantial your video did an excellent job of showcasing what it IS currently offering.

Yeah that is the downside to DoD. There's nothing to do apart from grow & breed. The current map is only half finished and only has food in about 1/3rd of it so there's no reason to go exploring it. There are currently no quests in the game, not even any quests to become elder. The only thing DoD has going for it is it's flight model, no other dragon game is using the same one but this will not save the game from being so boring to play that people stop playing it. Many people I know no longer play DoD because there is nothing for them to do in the game.

The legacy version is the old version, with only 3 dragons, old map etc and won't be updated The normal or new version gets all the updates, new dragons, new mechanics etc! Also legacy is free with the purchase of the original game (Day of Dragons)

@@CynroDrake what if u purchased legacy like 2 years ago :P, would i have access to dod? paying twice for the same game seems odd

If you had the game originally you should already have both versions in your steam library, one is called Dragons Legacy and the other Day Of Dragons :)

@@TheDamaro91 If you purchased the game 2 years ago then you will have both of them in your steam account. Legacy is the older version on UE4.

Lies. Their mods are really nice and very helpful. If you got banned it's 99.99% probable that you deserved it.

Showing nicknames with admin while invisible Ignoring some of 1337s hacks

I don't see that in them, even before I was a CC for them, I got nothing but care and respect from the entire team. And I cannot stress this enough.. It was NEVER a scam.

​@@Ragnarrlokk ​ @Ragnarrlokk Invalid bans on discord upon any critique or soft debate with mods in discussion channels, moderation teaming up with "GHOUL" clan/1337 and using admin in advantage to them in clan wars, (confirmed by DEATH clan members in an interview), also ignoring their cheats, the moderation is disgusting. Obviously it is. Large amounts of the community is aware of it.

@@cfowler7936 you've been complaining about this game for YEARS and yet you are still here complaining about it. Haven't you uninstalled it yet? You're nothing but a troll. And 12k is what they needed for the very simple game Jao wanted to make in the KS, but because of the KS success, they decided to make it a really good game. I am surprised you don't know this because everyone else does which means you either don't know because all you do is troll, or because you do know but all you do is troll. Either way, you're a troll.

I so agree, they do take a long time to bring out updates. But I will also say this. To take the time to FIX optimization in a game as well as they have with this update couldn't happen over small little updates that get added. They have enough faith in their community to trust that they will provide. I'm also a pretty impatient person when it comes to updates, but BeAwesome give me hope.

​@@Ragnarrlokk You are aware Jao, the only current coder for DoD, openly refuses to hire additional coders to help with the load because "he doesn't want people stealing his code". Talk about an excuse to delay the game and milk his devoted victims for more cash on Patreons. He's gotten thousands upon thousands monthly, and the game has just managed nearly half a year later after 1.0 coughed up SOME content, basic fixes and a single dragon (that's DLC, because 15k a month isn't enough to support the game. Least according to DoD team, so it needed to be sold separately...?).

@@cfowler7936 You are aware, that Jao, the only coder for DoD, said multiple times he would hire additional coders if he needed to. He also said they have a limited budget and use their funds to hire talent they don't have, not talent they do have. You are such a troll, every positive TH-cam video, there is cfowler, the person who doesn't ever play dod but is always complaining about it. How much are you being paid to complain about dod?

The game isn't built to go about 60FPS, things start to break above that.

I've also wished this, but after asking the questions and listening to the right answers I understand why that can' happen now. The game will break if it goes over basically

But why does it break?... I can't think of many modern games with that issue

@NekroticNewt A lot of DoD is based on weight, speed and physics based systems, for example the flying. This I believe means it can break when going at higher frames as it's like it's calculating things at lower gravity. Most games aren't as physics based.

Yeah would be nice to have it equal to other games from 10 years ago in terms of how many FPS we get. DoD is the worst performing game I have, such a shame it won't as good as it could be just because it's locked at 60 fps.

The Devs actually spoke on that a couple of days ago during their live Q&A. They are doing what they can to make things harder for cheaters and will be implementing 3rd parter anti-cheat software. Its not something that they can fix in one go, because the cheaters will always keep trying new things, so they are going to be continuing to keep fighting them - including adding the UE5 Replay feature for reporting.

It's the "help" call from the emote pack, it's the only one that works in the sky at this moment
