Looks great. Can you tell me the dimensions?
I just found and printed this from the Bambu Handy app. The file (all the plates) printed flawlessly on my Bambu P1S. It was listed as an RC car though. Your description says toy car which usually means there's no provisions for electronics. Can you tell me which is true? I also can't believe this has been up for 3 months with not a single comment!
Correct, there are no electronics AFAIK. The car has nice mechanical features such as a functioning steering wheel, handles to open the hood and trunk, and rotating wheels.
Awesome !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hey, I'm the creator of this model and I really enjoy watching you figure it out.
yeah, it took me five minutes to figure out the last gear but eventually, it worked out. Nice model by the way!
Love it !!! Great job 😍
Thank you!! 😊
The song at 7:50 has the exact same beat as "backstreet boys" - Everybody (song) Except the tune is only off by 1 note
Yup, you're right!
Love it 😁😁
Nice video!
Thanks!
Even printed on my x1c I find the bottom gear system to be problematic
I had no problems when using an Overture PLA Silk gold filament, perhaps because the P1P printer slows down a lot when printing generic silk PLA.
Thank You, wonderfull
Our pleasure!
mindblowing😯🤯
I agree!
wow, that is awesome!!
Thank you! Cheers!
love it
Thanks!
First project my 3 year old son and I completed together just this past weekend. He helped throughout the whole process. Loved getting him involved and interested!
That is awesome!
Thanks you for printing my design and making video~
You're Welcome 😊
are the dials supposed to just snap on the white wheels? All seems to be properly sized but won't just get in :) Tried multiple print... if i resize, then the proportions with the box are wrong.... any tips from anybody who actually was able to put them together? (I do see that you glue them, but still it seems you have a perfect occlusion :)
Yes, the dials will snap on the internal golden wheels and lock in place. BTW I didn't use any glue and with the last dial I used a small screwdriver to reach inside and put pressure on the back of the last golden wheel.
@@3DTimeSculpt thank you! i guess i need to print the parts again :)
After printing the white wheels three time and shrunk it down each time, I had no luck. From what I can see is the spokes are way too big, so I’m going to try to shrink down just that part of the wheel.
Ive just printed this and the inner dials wont just push in no matter what. Does anyone know how i could do this
@@stephjarrold3737 check your printer settings and make sure all looks right. Sometimes I printed parts with the wrong nozzle size settings and all the layer heights were off. You could try using the same filament for both the inner and outer dials, because sometime different filament and/or material can expand in different ways and you will have different tolerances on each part. Another thing you could try is use thinner layer lines. For example if you have a 0.4 mm nozzle, you could try to use 0.16 or 0.12 mm layer height.
I think the YT algo was broken this morning, recommending this. Thousand plus bucks printer and loud, "bombastic" sound track... for printing... this?!
Sorry if I disappointed you with this short video :( , will try to do better in the future. BTW I paid my printer $699.
Amazing technology
Thanks!
Nice shot!
good editing
You think so?
Beautiful colors. They shine even more with the dark canvas underneath.
So cute ❤
Thank you!
I printed a model with the similar technique (the strings with a suspended piece in the middle). I did it in 2 colors, which worked out very nice. It was a heart inside a big circle. I did the circle and heart in red silk filament and the strings in gold. It gives a fantastic effect. You could try something similar as an option with this model. The right combination of colors could make it (even mores) stunning.
Great tip! Thank you.
did you glue the 2 main pieces together or just the smaller ones?
No glue. The three small pieces are locking the two main parts together w/o the need for glue.
I don't understand, how are the suspension strings printed like that with filament? and no support?
I believe it is a combination of slowing down the nozzle speed and setting the fans to 100% to immediately cool down the filament while building the bridge.
Link to the model?

This is seriously underrated and hilarious
What do you mean by no supports? You clearly spent quite some time to remove supports.
You're right. Originally I tried without supports but the roof of the box failed to print correctly. I'm going to fix the description accordingly. Thanks for noticing it!
I’ve done medium and loose and neither of them will snap. Even tried pla + they just break. Kids still love them though.
I just used Bambulab PLA Basic and it worked the first time. No problems at all.
Same here. Sucks I’ve wasted two prints trying to
@@silver2331 perhaps my settings can help you: - Printer: Bambulab P1P with 0.4 Nozzle - Filament: Bambulab PLA Basic Brown - Printer Profile: 0.20mm Standard @BBL P1P Strength Settings: Wall loops: 3 Top shell layers: 3 Others Settings: Brim type: Outer brim only everything else uses the default settings
thank you so much! I will try them!@@3DTimeSculpt
