My customer today wanted me to revive the paintwork on his Peugeot Boxster as he wants it looking amazing as he wants to use it for his business… I had to do a full Decontamination throughout the paint work,then he wanted the vinyl which was on the two sides and rear taken off…then I had to Polish the paintwork throughout as he wanted the paintwork swell free..

It take me 6 hours to complete the valet,yes I put a ceramic wax spay on it as my custom didn’t want the full ceramic..
what tar remover did you use
I used auto smart tardis to remove all tar particles from the vehicle..
He was obviously impressed with how you were transforming the interior to want the exterior doing. Fab result! Caan you divulge how much you charged for this job, taking in the time you spent? Surely, you must have changed the charge from the initial quote.
Tbh, the car seemed really clean before, and I couldn't see there being much difference no matter what you did. Still, a good wash, thorough polish, and a ceramic application made a huge difference. I was impressed how you got a lot of them swirls out by polishing -good job. Couple of questions...Why did you go for the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Lite over C1 0.05? What buffing machine are you using? It looks like a Rupes without the branding. Subbed.

Because corner car washers are not fully trained details which take off all the vinyl safely and remove all glue particles from the paintwork and polish it..
Which polish did you use on the wheels, and where can you buy the polishing cone that was in the end of the drill from?
Just a normal standard polish that is not too harsh of a compound, I bought the cone attachments for the drill on eBay there’s loads on there..

What did you use to clean the windows?
I always use alcohol and D-ionised water, you can’t go wrong with it especially in the sunlight..

Hi mate nice job 👍🏼 what pads and compound/polish were you using? Am just getting into using a DA. And just bought a 3 inch backing plate. As I was finding it hard to get to tight areas with the 5 inch.
Thanks bud,I Used menzerna Heavy cutting compound and menzerna refine, and a softer medium polishing pad… 3 inch and 5 inch.. Let me know how you get on..👍🏻
