I found a very clean 1 near me with only 70,000 milea but the owner aaid it "runs rough" They replaced all ignition parts and added a Webber carb to it, whatever that is. I really like the car but am not sure what is exactly wrong with it ugh
Clean ones are hard to come by nowadays, but I’d hold out for an Si model if at all possible.
I like this dash more than my 91 crx si's

Mark! there is a discussion on SC about the adequacy of OEM rotors and calipers. I recall you being on stock rotors and calipers in this video. What pads were you using? Do you feel that the brakes were sufficiently powerful to achieve maximal braking with these tires? Your input is appreciated!
Hi David, I was running stock rotors & calipers with Porterfield R4 fronts R4S rears. Only other mods to the brakes were Goodridge stainless braided lines & Motul fluid. Yes, braking was adequate with good modulation. For whatever reason, braking had never been a concern ever with this simple setup as the car is so light.

What's a good starting point on spring rates?
Depends on your setup. Stock Megan Racing coilover is a good start, spring rates are 4K/7K.

Pretty basic suspension setup, Megan Racing coilovers with Swift springs 8k/11k.

Tires are Nanking AR-1’s. They are FS btw. Aero is just splitter & wing.
What's the point of the circular cutouts in the rear bumper? Is it for supplemental cooling?
You should turn on spot metering for this kind of footage. Can’t see anything outside the car.

How much power did your turbo add to your car? A 3 second reduction is huge.

I'm no pro but I see spots on that lap where you scrubbed off 3 sec from your momentum car. I suggest you quiet your wheel. BTW my best 13cw lap is 2:30. It was exciting to watch.
He's obviously a less experienced driver, you shouldn't even be able to catch up to him in corners if skills were equal. Playin the blame game.

I did a 2:00 flat in my Mcoupe with RS3's & no aero. I have since added aero & R comps, so I'll need to reset my PB with it next time.
