This was our first practice track for VST. It was 40 min old, wind and rain on the track after I layed it. Corners on pavement, multiple cross tracks from people and cars.

This track is an hour and a half old and in the pouring rain. It was a really good track to learn lots of his tells such as corners and when he’s on the track when he lost it and it was helping me, learn that I need to have a gallery because he was very interested in Hillary in the field videotaping us, but I am so proud of this little boy a year old and doing a track like this. We went to visit a bog to see if there were any cranberries and other plants that my biologist friend wanted to document. It was great trying to get on the bog as we got pretty wet sloshing through the perimeter. It is amazing what you can find amongst the clear cuts.

This video describes and shows the effects of the flood waters from the escaped Glacier Lake Missoula. It is a flight from St. Ignatius to Plains and back. We had a great time looking at the area from the air and seeing a new perspective. Our pilot Andreas Stricker was great and we enjoyed the flight immensely. The areas in the video are Mission, Charlo, Moiese, Perma, Dixon and Plains Montana....

We flew on June 7th 2023 around the Mission Mountains. It was a beautiful day for the flight. We could see that the snow pack was almost gone so early in the year. This area is mostly protected by the tribe for grizzly habitat. #Dixonmt, #Montana, #Missionmountains, #flatheadvalley, #Flatheadriver, #Plainsmontana, #Flatheadreservation

This is our first camping trip with the new puppies and the new camper Gypsy.

Hickory vs Klallam

This video was taken in the fall. It is an old homestead on the Flathead Reservation. It was in disrepair but it was still beautiful to see. It is near Dixon Montana and Perma. The Homesteaders used several springs to support themselves. It was about 4 miles away from a dirt road but I am sure at the time of inhabitance they used the single track as a means to get to the homestead.

This is the second installment from my epic visit back to Vermont. I had been away for 7 years, way too long.

This field trip was along the Jocko River. We found beaver activity and we saw and heard Snipe. I love these birds and it's not just because I used to live on Snipe Island rd in Vermont!

This field trip was for my Dixon students during the pandemic. It was along Magpie Creek in Dixon town. It shows lots of native plants and trees that grow along the stream beds. So different from the dry xeric areas of the hill tops.

This video was done during the Pandemic. I walked along the steep hills along Gunderson creek among the spring flowers.
