Rekindling Childhood Passions: How to Cope with Anxiety
Hey there, lovelies! It's Shaz with Love, and in today's video, I'm going to be sharing some tips on how to rekindle your childhood hobbies and activities that once brought you joy but got lost along the way as adulthood happened. We all have things that we used to love doing, whether it was drawing, dancing, playing an instrument, or reading books like me, but as we grew up and life happened, we slowly drifted away from them. But I'm here to tell you that it's never too late to pick up those hobbies again and bring a little bit of joy back into your life.
In this video, I'll be sharing some of the ways I've been able to incorporate my childhood love for reading into my busy adult life, and how it's helped me deal with my anxiety and stress. So if you're someone who's been feeling overwhelmed and in need of a little break, I highly suggest you stick around and see how you can add a little bit of joy and relaxation into your daily routine.
And don't forget to hit that subscribe button and turn on the notification bell to be notified when I post my next video. Thanks for watching!

Stop Holding Yourself Back: How to Achieve Your Dreams and Break Free from Fear
มุมมอง 15ปีที่แล้ว
Hello everyone! In this video, I want to talk about setting and achieving high goals. Sometimes, we blame everything and everyone else for not being able to achieve the things we want in life, but the truth is, sometimes it's just us holding ourselves back. We need to take a step back and see that fear is what's holding us back from achieving our dreams. We need to stop playing it safe and star...

I’m positive that I am bi polar. However, if I listed the medications that have given me severe adverse effects…. Most people would not believe it. I have good insurance now, which I pay a fortune for and co-pays are high. I can honestly say that IF you do not have to take meds…. Don’t. I will have to take them for the rest of my life and I accept that. With that said, a GOOD therapist is so important. Mine is so so and no one has ever taken the time to do a real social history or tried to truly get to the “root cause” or ask me who diagnosed me, etc. I have panic disorder (been on benzos since 4 days after my daughter was born and I didn’t sleep a wink for those 4 days and nights). Generalized anxiety, etc. I know God made me this way for a reason and I pray that I can help someone else who goes through some of the things I’ve been through. Perhaps, they would be able to avoid some of the same things. I always lied about my childhood bcuz my parents did not validate me. Said I made it up. Kids don’t make those kinds of things up. They may not get every fragment or detail right but they know what happened and who hurt them. I soooo wish I could find a psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist or someone who had longer than 30 minutes to help me process and get past the “past”. I work to try to help others and have to take breaks doing other mindless work sometimes for a year because I get too overwhelmed and fail. When I was younger, being bi polar didn’t bother me so much. But, my child is grown and getting married soon. That’s when my issues began. I escaped in the beginning by drinking a few times a week. I’m sober now and have been for years, but I’m so triggered, anxious and a bit of a mess now. Prayers please.

I quit taking it on my own. Was prescribed this for major depression, although I’m not bipolar. Worsened my depression so much I nearly killed myself. The doctor refused to hear me, said give it time, and increase the dose etc. well after 4 months, I quit taking it and got a second opinion. Got put on lexapro from another doctor and it saved my life. Vraylar is for bipolar depression/mania, NOT for depression

My doctor recommended this to me I was on several meds and stopped to going to my therapist in 2019 bc of insurance reasons found other ways to cope. Found out my Dr retired when I wanted to go back so during my physical I asked for my old meds which was Xanax Prozac etc she recommended this. Now my main concern is the weight gain I’ve already gained 50+ lbs on birth control shot and this says weight gain. In our visit she said I need to lose weight. Why wld she put me on this I haven’t taken it I asked to be referred to psychiatry that is as in sept the wait list is 3000+ I’m about to lose it tho.

Im glad you got off that junk. Hell, the blk dude in the current add LOOKS fucking crazy..maybe even schizophrenic...halloween type shit. The side effects are worst than the damn bipolar lol. Wishing u well- I really do understand the struggle. Hopefully you have euphoric mania and just stay there & accomplish all your life goals. I deal with BPII and the depression be kicking my ass. Im sometimes (dysphoricly) hypomanic, particularly goal oriented, racing thoughts and irritability but usually stay stuck in the lows or at a "normal" baseline. Try lamictal, it softens the blow if your system can tolerate it. Peace ❤

I just started tonight. My depression and anxiety has been severe. I just started Prozac 20 I take Pristiq 75 and I was taking Lithium 900. But it was not working so I just started Vraylar and no more Lithium. So Prozac 20. Pristiq 75 and now the Vraylar 1.5. I am not biopolar but the depression has been severe. Hopefully this week the depression will and the situations will improve. I definitely want to feel joyful and hopeful about the future, especially my marriage. I am doing yoga and therapy. AND LOTS OF baths and showers! Oh yeah and pool time.

I really enjoyed listening to you! What you said was very insightful and thoughtful. I took Vraylar for one day. The side effects were insomnia and constipation (which I never have!) I stopped it immediately. I am Bipolar 1. I have had lots of Manic episodes when I was younger. I do not take any Antipsychotics. All those I know who are Bipolar and took Antipsychotics long term are not well mentally and have serious side effects! I only take a mood stabilizer and antidepressant. Way less harm on your system compared to Antipsychotics. I feel so badly that psychiatrists are as incompetent as they are. I used to be a therapist but had to leave the field due to how depressing it was watching people receive poor care and be prescribed unnecessary medications and being misdiagnosed.

What is your skin care routine now? Now that your face has mostly healed the basic acne routine should clear you completely. Like Cetaphil gentle wash(i use the bar) 10%Benzoyl Peroxide gel cream and (Differin) adapalene mixed with a moisturizer(cleanandclear) and sunscreen(supoergoop). You may have better luck with Benzoyl peroxide because Salicylic is best for blackheads. Not saying that salicylic acid should not be used but just moved around. BP can be irritating so to still get in some salicylic acid i use a moisturizer with it in there, the moisturizer acts like a buffer .The moisturizer I use is strong but I know my skin handles it well. Im looking for a second without an active I may use your suggestion. The Adapalene will work to cure the acne and hyperpigmentation and scarring. Using differin as a spot is not effective because its the kind of thing that works best over long-term use. That is why a lot of pros will prescribe the Benzoyl Peroxide and Differin mix. Because BP works fast thus giving patients results faster than if just using differin. If you do add BP to your routine Never use Vitamin C in the same routine. IT will be ineffective, they cancel each other out. Also If you are not using any actives at all in your routine(The viewing audience) DO NOT ADD ALL THIS TO YOUR ROUTINE AT ONCE. just start with a basic wash with no fragrance, BP cream, plain moisturizer and plain sunscreen. Each week add something new except if its acidic, wait 2-3 weeks. Im not a pro just a lot of trials. lol I am now using BP and Differin 2 times a day in my routine, thus is why sunscreen is my bestfriend and moisturizer. More important listen to your skin. I am almost completely clear and would be completely if i had not used vit c.... now i have great results and Consistency is above all else.. Sorry for the long post but I finally figured out this acne thing for myself and hope it helps someone.
