How to draw and mow a pattern on your lawn
มุมมอง 2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Last year (Fall 2021) I won the Allett Mowers Creative Lawn Striping Competition. In this video, I show the method I use to draw out a pattern on my lawn that I then mow for 2-3 weeks until the grass has adjusted to the different cutting heights. How to convert Allett mower cartridges from Kensington to Stirling
มุมมอง 1.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows how easy it is to convert a cartridge from either the Allett Liberty 43 or Kensington 43 or 51 to the new Stirling 43 or 51 Mower. These lines of reel mowers have Quick-Change cartridges, called Ultra-Change in the new Stirling, that provide different functionality for a single mower, which increases its usefulness greatly. The Stirling has been improved in the speed of cartrid...

This is a common question and one that I’ve struggled with a bit. I just got in contact with a guy from a golf course who says he’d be happy to service my reels, but he can’t do it until November when the season is over. I’ll be contacting him again then and back lapping in the meantime. If it goes well I’ll get in an annual plan with him. I expect I may have to take the reel out of the cartridge for him to grind it.

Sure. I would be checking the nozzles to make sure there aren’t any clogs. Also the spacing might be off and you might not have head to head coverage. There will be some variation you just want to make sure there aren’t any spots that are not getting hardly any water.

My mom has made this my whole life and I’ve never attempted it myself yet. She melts the chocolate separately then pours it on. Sometimes she has poor adhesion of the nuts. I think I’ll try it this way, it would seem the weight and heat of the candy would really help the chocolate and nuts adhere well. Has this method has ever left you with areas of toffee without chocolate? Or do you get a pretty even coat of it? This was a great video, thanks so much!

The Stirling uses Ego, the Liberty uses Greenworks. They are independent of both companies, just use their battery systems. I like the Ego better from what I’ve used of both. The Ego would only work with Ego tools, same for the Greenworks tools. I think that most Ego tools have a unified battery, but I’ve not heard the same of Greenworks. I have an 80v Greenworks Edger, but I know they also have some 40v battery tools. Ego is mostly all 56v, I believe.
