Fun fact, it's nit just the headphone's. Steelseries products are designed to break. I had the exact same issue with the headset, and I bought two controllers, both broke the same way within a year, every Steele product I've used has broken way faster then it should

24:24 if you enjoy the comfyness maybe check out arctis nova. i tried all of them over the years, had the 5,7,9, pro and never had issues with the holding arm but yeah the design is trash. i got nova 4 currently, and in comparison all of those are deadass the same. sound quality is the same, feel is the same except these ones weigh less and the structure doesn't have this flaw

Hello Fred. If you're looking for some nice headphones I highly recommend checking out AKG. They got bought out by Sony in 2017 (I think) but if you look for the older models, you can get some very nice headphones for very cheap. They don't sell wireless, but their wired (both open and close backed) are very good.

mike ur 100% right the Arctics are some of the most comfortable headsets i've used but they are so weak. (i know this is dumb) but i also like to sleep with my headphones on and it's just not worth it cause they broke so quickly from it.
