Fernworthy ceremonial complex
มุมมอง 103 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Fernworthy circle is part of a group of ceremonial monuments including 3 stone rows and 5 cairns that may once have rivalled Merrivale and Shovel Down as ceremonial centres. The site is in a small clearing in Fernworthy Forest off the path from the reservoir to Teignhead Farm. The circle is thought to date from 4000 years ago, it is 20m in diameter and consists of 27 small stones. The stone...

U.K. spearfishing for bass with Spearfin
Hi bud glad you liked gibraltar its the best
It’s such a good place, definitely need more time out there.
Greek spearfishing quality
Quero comprar uma dessa como eu faço
You need to find a spearfishing dealer near you or online that sells pathos gear. Where in the world do you live??
Gibraltar looks amazing!
@@Reklawization it really is, thank you for watching.
Hello , if someone can give me a opinion for that gun. Im goin to buy tomorow classic 90 cm ??😅
@@orcaazur06 I used this gun plenty since making this video, it’s very accurate and does what you need it too. I did take the reel off it though.
@@Jamiedays thanks man👍 youre answer came at the right time. Only différents pipe is liké cuttlefish bone. Thank you!!
Hola una pregunta q tipo de material me recomiendas unas q me dure por muchos años si de carbón o de aluminio
Aluminium and carbon both have their places. Aluminium guns tend to be cheaper and shoot fish just as well as carbon. If you can, try have a go with both and see if you like one over the other.
Gracias
Well done - nice looking boat, is that new!?
Cheers, it’s a mates boat. I might be lucky enough one day to have my own one. This was well setup for diving off.
@@Jamiedays having just brought one myself mate, I can assure you, borrowing someone else’s is a much, MUCH better idea!! 😅
@BR0SE1DON haha, a good old saying is the best boat is a mates boat. Lol 😂
@@Jamiedays I fully agree! 😂
@Jamiedays always welcome aboard the boat mate.
Great video , enjoyed watching , well done on getting the bass 🙌
Thanks 👍 glad you enjoyed it.
Nice vids fella 👍
Thanks for watching.
Definitely get a bigger pan for the lobo next time though! :D
Great to see so much life in Gib! Mullet heaven and Octopus too! What a great adventure. Pleased you made it our of the bait balls alive 😆 Great shot on the Bass!
Thanks Mr B.
Top vid mate
Thank you 😊 glad you enjoyed it.
Nice one Jamie! Never realised there was so much life there 😀
Definitely more exploring to do, cannot wait to do more out there. Thanks for watching mate.
That's a great video mate, the fish life is decent there, didn't you fancy munching the octopus?
Cheers mate, it’s another world there. I took one the last day but left it for my mum to eat. Next time I’ll try get it on here. How is everything your end??
Bloody hell, some great fish there mate.
Thank you, any luck this year yourself??
Great video Jamie, brilliant commentary :)
Great video Jamie, thank you for helping me pick out my new gear today:)
Well done mate! I’m totally with you on the vacuum sealer, a bit of a game changer isn’t it, makes it last so much better. People always seem very impressed when I give them some fillets all sealed up!
Thanks, definitely fresher for longer. The whole process is amazing really, jumping in the sea and outwitting a fish or whatever quarry you are after. Then turning it into food or saving it for a later date is awesome in my book.
@@Jamiedays completely agree!
happy to see you got out and found some fish
Thanks mate
Well done buddy - always good to get out! I personally think, as long as you see some fish, it’s been a good dive. Scallops were a nice bonus!
Definitely mate, they were delicious 🤤. Just been in and got a 43cm bass and 49cm mullet, made up for Thursdays trip out.
@@Jamiedays well done matey! Top work!! 👌🏼
Nice Jamie:) good feed mate!
Thanks guys, about time to get my social media back on track. Been a hectic time hence the pause on the channel.
I'm still on the fence if I should install one or not. In your video it looks like it creates a pretty big bulge on the inside, along with a pretty big seam. Do you have any problems with this irritating your skin?
It lays flat if you just have it tucked under the beaver tail. Just put yourself in after you get in the water. Everything used is exactly the same products as inside the suit so theoretically it should be the same on your body.
@@Jamiedays Thanks for the reply, I wasn't worried about the pisette on the outside, but basically the suit is relatively flat on the inside, but the seam where you glue, its basically now 2 layers of neoprene you glued on top of each other. Have you had any issues of this rubbing against your crotch?
@@crustybear the pissette sits on the outside of the cut so doesn’t cause any extra material inside. No rubbing or issues with them so far, I’ve fitted about 20 of them and not had any real problems.
@@Jamiedays Amazing thanks buddy!
@@crustybear no worries mate, anything else just buzz. I’m on FB under the same name you can see stuff on there I’m doing as it’s not worth putting here some of the small bits I’ve done.
hi mate, thanx for info, I couldn't get the idea of angle difference? 30vs23 degree...does it really make difference on performance? i think 23 degree is more reactive then 30 degree or there is no relevant :) or it is just about my ankle positioning? Hi from fethiye :)
Hi 👋 thanks for watching, the angle will make your surface swimming different. That bigger angle will be in the water making an easier push for you. I’ve been told it’s easier on your ankles too.
Could you tell me the overall length of the fins with the foot pockets? I’m trying to find the longest fin I can to fit in my luggage. Thanks!
Just looked and the Alchemy S fins are 86cm including the footpocket. I’m a size 10 foot the footpocket is a 44/46
Lovely video Jamie! Sustainable seafood and fun with friends what it all about 😊
Love it Jamie, pure gold, broken down a broken fin then a method of broth I’ve never seen in my life
Thanks mate, it was an interesting trip out that day. That dish is so delicious definitely one of my favourite ones.
Well done son x
Thanks mum x
Cracking video mate! Always a pleasure to dive with you. Plenty of diving together over winter and buzzing for next year's season already 🔥
Yes cannot wait to get out for winter hunting, then back into summer fish.
I've always wanted to have a pathos laser . dream sg
You will get there buddy. Keep saving and you will do it.
Well done on the video, great to see you get out and travel. Looked like you got into a few good fish as well! Congrats on the video, Hello from Aussie, Dive safe, Eat well! 👌👍🐟🦘🐙
Thanks bro 😎
Sole slayer!
Incredible. Dived for a Bass. Shot a Sole. Top skills adjusting aim.
love that, thought you were closing in on the other fish theme saw the silhouette of the sole brilliant. got your aim on this time too mate lol
Well done Jamie 👏 , be cool when I get my first red mullet, really curios how they taste..everyone has said they are really good
It’s a good eating fish, I’m sure you will be hitting one soon enough. I seen one on the sand here in Plymouth last week.
Amazing vis out there and interesting catches. Great to get the taste test comparison.
Great to see you had an epic time Jamie
Looked like cool diving 🤙
Super stoked you got on your first flight mate!! Good going over there, cool to hear there's loads of octopus. 😁😎
sole salad was that? nice video
Hi Jamie, I can into the shop at the end of May (late in the day sorry) and bought the 75cm Cressie whaler, knife and float and you rigged it up for me. I just wanted to say, thank you for your help and for not making the newbie feel totaly stupid. Just a quick video request if you have time, could you do a video explaining how to start calculating the amount of weight I will need please? All the online calculators I can find are aimed at scuba diving. Cheers Pete
Hi Pete, thanks for messaging. We all started at the beginning, I like to make it as easy as possible for everyone I meet. Ah ok, I will look at doing a vid on that soon mate. In the meantime I recommend 1kg per 1mm of neoprene thickness in a spearfishing suit to start with. From there you will find each person is slightly different and will need to either adjust the 5kg with small amounts or adding extra weight. I would say only add small amounts of weight while you are figuring it out. If you end up overweight it can be a lot harder to swim back up. Hope this helps 😄
Good info. Thanks.
thanks
No worries
Awesome! Looks like you had a good year with your spearfishing! 😄
Nice one Jamie 👌🏻
Looks like everyone had a very good year. Good work Jamie😀
Very nice mate, some fantastic catches there by folks!! Hope you are well 😁👊
