I was completely skeptical, but this actually worked. I have a Canon TR4720 and I had done the head alignment and cleaning multiple times to no avail. There didn't even seem to be much residue or anything on the guide rail, but I cleaned it anyway with a wet-wipe. The problem disappeared immediately. Cool beans.

I think this saved our printer going out with the trash today. Then it took a few sheets of paper to get the alignment back where it should have been. Just got one persistent blocked jet in the black now to try and unblock on our old Brother MFC 490CW, which has given great service up until a week or two back when the alignment problem arose.

OMG I was literally just about to dump my printer! Its old. I had done a very tedious manual alignment and I was still getting double vision type in a print. Lol one wipe of that metal bar and voila! Its completely fixed! People like you helping here are an absoloute Godsend. Thanks so much! :)
