Actually his name has been Adam Bell-Bastien for the last few years but I haven't seen anything of Jerome since Adam joined Home Free. Of course the bartender in the black dress who arm wrestled Chris looks familiar. She is part of 7th Ave, the group Chris Rupp and Adam Bell-Bastien were in after Chris left Home Free. She's not his wife. Tristin Rupp Heiser is Chris and Adam Rupp's sister.

Beautiful song! There are so many songs that I would never have heard but for Home Free. One thing about their recordings. They will layer parts sometimes to get the sound they want. It makes the recording more full. Sorry to hear that you had to deal with damage from a tornado. Is everything ok?

Another beautiful song by Home Free. Nice that they featured Adam Bastien again on lead vocals for this country song. The background harmonies were great along with Adam's beatboxing. Also love the very touching video that went along with the song. Our lives are so busy these days but we need to connect with those we love in small special ways.

I love this song so much! It's one of my top duets of all time! My husband is a Firefighter/EMT and I'm also an EMT. We have a very deep connection that started the day we met! We were set up on a blind date! Neither one of us wanted to do it but we ended up going through with it, anyway... and we're SO glad we did! After a year of dating, he proposed and I of course said yes! Six months later we got married in the meadow behind the Firehouse where my husband works! It was so beautiful!!! They put the ladder and rescue trucks nose to nose, as a backdrop for the ceremony. My husband even arranged for his Dad (also a firefighter) to drive an antique firetruck, instead of using a limo, to bring my Dad and I to the ceremony! My husband looked so sharp in his Class A Uniform and I wore my sister's gorgeous ivory and blush gown! It was a beautiful ceremony with the leaves in bright fall colors. We had a reception at a nearby hotel. Our first dance was to this song... our 25th Anniversary is next month!

I consider this his most beautiful video, both musically and visually. So gentle and soothing. I remember him saying that the piano in the video was half a semi tone out from the recording, so playing it and singing along was a nightmare. But you can't tell at all. It's a very old song, I'm surprised you've never heard it before.

There is a movie called Shenandoah starring Jimmy Stewart that is very good, set during the Civil War. They play this song in the beginning of the movie. But make sure you have a box of kleenex as its a tear jerker. But I love Geoffs version of the song better.
