It's crazy that Shein went to such lengths to make their makeup "cruelty free" but it's not really true unless you think human beings aren't members of the animal kingdom. I'm sure they don't test on humans but they are certainly cruel and inhumane to them. Yes, most things are manufactured in China but Shein is one of the worst in terms of how they treat workers. They refuse to be transparent about working conditions and have been caught multiple times for violation of what laws China does have protecting workers 😢 Just think anyone who is concerned about products being cruelty free should also be aware of the abuse of human beings. Not judging anyone who buys from Shein, but it's a decision that should be informed.
