What a great play from the International Staff Band 😒
Maravilhoso!!!!

Nice job musicians!
Prachtig, wat een geweldige mooie zegen gaat hiervan uit. Dank jullie wel! 🙏
Wonderful minimalist conducting. He clearly trains the band well and lets them play, only adding important transitions, emphases, and tempo when necessary. His lack of conducting ego is remarkable.
Love this piece and some of the translations
Wonderfully played 😊
Well played. Key signatures are important.
there’s a popular anecdote surrounding the composition of the "Intermezzo" from Cavalleria Rusticana. It is said that Pietro Mascagni was feeling frustrated with his work and, in a moment of despair, he tossed the manuscript into the bin. His wife, however, retrieved it and encouraged him to continue developing the piece. This story highlights not only Mascagni's initial struggle with the composition but also the support he received, which ultimately contributed to the creation of one of opera’s most beloved interludes. The anecdote emphasizes the theme of perseverance in the creative process, turning a moment of doubt into a lasting legacy.
Music❤
Salvationist and pround May God blessed our lovely church🥰
Super!!!
By the way Ray did play with Halifax Citadel Band when his parents were Corps Officers there
Many years ago it was a wonderful privilege for my wife and I to host Ray Steadman Allen in our home for a weekend Band Reunion of Halifax Citadel Band of which I was then Bandmaster. Ray was not only an outstanding musician but also a most gracious Christian Gentleman. It was a joy to play under his baton. Unfortunately Halifax Citadel, like numerous SA Corps now defunct and we have to rely on happy memories.
The Circus March as we used to call it. Forgotten who said it but suggested the lyrics to the first phase are. Here he comes, here he comes, here he comes, here he comes, Wilf Heaton, Wilf Heaton. 😊
Detox drama Cpossy❤🎉
As swift as that Incredible fast❤😂🎉
Gorgeous 🥰🥰
One of my favourite Euphonium solos. Hardly ever seems to get featured, sadly. Great to hear Aaron end on the low concert F as opposed to finishing in the dizzy heights of notes only a piccolo trumpet can play!
This piece is becoming one of my favorite pieces of music
There is no sound quite like a SA band!
Beautiful music with beautiful words
😊😊

In Brazil, we have a church named "Christian Congregation in Brazil", that was founded by the italian Luigi Francescon. In our church, we play classical hymns of the XVI-XX centuries, this is one of the hymns of our church, its so beautiful! God bless you all!

Brilliant playing. First time for me! Top artist.
A special thank you to the flugel (my most favourite of all the instruments I have played) Jesus Name Above All Names comes across wonderfully.
Praise God!
@@slzzy9902 Thank you. I have just realised that there is reference in the music to Jesu Joy of man's desiring. Praise God indeed!
😅
Just listen to the late great Roy Roe on this piece Roy was one of the finest

wow🎉
Us band members at the salvation army play some absolutely beautiful pieces of music, I have been playing brass for 50 years (BBb Bass),and for me Prelude on Lavenham is th most beautiful piece of music I have ever played,it actually reduced me to tears the first time I played it and I still get very emotional playing it❤
We are performing this piece in a Brazilian marching band, High School Alberto Salotti, from São Paulo. A very difficult piece, but very interesting and impactful for an amateur group that increasingly seeks professionalism and musical quality in its performances.
Que por sinal eu fui no último ensaio prestigiar e está ficando muito top! Parabéns a todos envolvidos.
Can somebody remove that child from the audience, please!?
