I have a brand new MD5k and I can’t get it to not clip at almost any volume for some reason. I have tons of power but my HU is sending 2.5 through the RCAs, could that cause it. I’m so lost with this amp and it’s the last thing for my build. It’s really pissing me off

Hey. Any chance I could find out if you're still running this build? Just wanted more details regarding your electrical. Obviously probably using a large lithium bank and / or super caps. Wanted to see what your voltage drop was like on burps? I'm guessing you obviously set it wayyy below clipping when you wanted to demo, and just had the absurd power on tap for burps. Curious if you had good reliability with those high power SD amplifiers or if you ended up running into any trouble with them.

I know this is old but I don’t really understand what I did wrong, I installed a 10in sub in my car but I get no bass, the only time I hear any type of bass is when I max out the output sub level 10 max out the input level on my amp and almost max out the knob, and with all that it’s still extremely low, is it my head unit not putting out a strong signal or is it the amp not boosting the signal?

Having so much bass that the music cant be heard is fucking retarded.
