@@mightyrockstar22 theirs a season 2 teaser trailer and the animation looks alot different from season 1.
i think it's just an evolution of their animation style rather than a complete change, it's been so long since the first season so it makes sense they'd change and I like that they aren't ignoring the massive hiatus in more ways than one

This anime had such potential to be good, with Maou resenting his past actions and developing into an anti-hero demon lord, when he returns undos his wrong actions. BUT NOPE, INSTEAD IT'S A BLAND SLICE OF LIFE SHOW!!!!! Like c'mon, besides Chiho, nobody else has depth in their character.
Kind of funny how you want this into generic maou-yuusha stuff. And saying that these characters lack depth? Not sure if you're actually watching this or not lol.
