Some Kok Bodo words seem to be more similar with different regional dilects of Bodo than with the Standard one.

Bodo, Kokborok,other eastern languages have a same origin (Sino-Tibetan) Tripura used to be a home of more than 3 dozens languages (Many languages has gone extinct), currently Kokborok, Chakma, Halam, Kaipeng, Mog, Manipuri, Bengali & some few others left. Also it's fun to know that although Kokborok is considered as one language but kokborok speaking communities Debbarma,Tripura, Bru/Reang, Jamatia, Kalai, Rupini etc...have their own way/style of delivering the speech. For example as a Rupini the boy called "tree" as "Bolfang", but by a Debbarma it will be "Bufang".
