Hahaha, from your opening description of the band I was thinking, "Ohhhhhhhhh, brother, what do we have here?!?!?!" But I love this! Admittedly, I love all things goth, but I find modern goth bands really don't get it, but these guys certainly do. Goth bands need to have a particular sound to the vocals, and this guy does it for me. Though, not goth, my first thought was that he sounds like the vocalist for Life If Agony, whom I love!

Took me a minute to get into it, but once it clicked, it clicked. Not what I would usually play, but that may change. Really dig this and love the pageantry.

Here are some sugestions for Lotl songs, since you asked: Raining stars, Morgana, Ruins. They have more of an epic feel to them. Maybe you like one of them.

Nice and brutal. Never thought I would hear a violin in this style of music, but they really made it work nicely.

Been a while since I listened to black metal so this was a nice change. Glad to see that people are still foolish enough to wander around in dark, random forests, even if they do have an abandoned house in it.

Not really my thing, maybe a little too mellow and the lyrics didn't speak to me (gotta have great lyrics that tell a story for me to be happy). I did enjoy him trying to put up a missing person poster on the chain link fence.

Have to admit, this song started kind of mehh, but it really improved as it got rolling. Some cool instrumental things goings on, the flow change was unexpected and interesting, and the gutturals were a nice touch. All in all, not a major listen to everyday banger, but still worthwhile.

Glad you liked the violin 😁 Yeah genre-wise with this first EP we’re definitely still establishing our sound but lately we’ve started using the term “extreme neoclassical metal” to describe what we’re going for especially with what we’re currently writing. We also just call it “worship music for monsters” haha, our TH-cam descriptions should have some info. All the videos have come out by now, so if you want to jump into the EP that would be so amazing and awesome of you to do! We are completely independent, so while I think we were able to get the videos good by the time we released Ritual, it was definitely a journey and we focused first and foremost on making the music great. We have a full EP stream video with lyrics, or a playlist with our 3 MVs and 2 visualizers, I personally prefer the full stream for the cohesive experience
