Any reason you recommended this vs. other chips? You can get a Ryzen 1600X (which matches the Xeon E5 2667 v4 in single/multi workloads) for $35 from China easily. Put it in a B450 mobo and you can easily throw in whatever flavor Ryzen 5000 chip you want with nothing more than a BIOS update.

Brazilian combo: CPU+MB+RAM+ RX 580 2048 SP + cheap SSD . Usually goes for something like $220, without taxes. You need to add at least 500 W PSU and some case if you dislike building in cardboard box 😁 This is good enough for PS4 ports (up to 2020) and PVP games like CS2, Warthunder etc ... If you want to play more modern games, go for 5700XT or 6600. Anything more ... well, possible but not really worth the money.

Yes, lights are fun to use. Having more than two on a team? No. Ive watched my entire team get themselves wiped multiple times, aross all gamemodes because we have too many lights.

Aliexpress really needs to step up their GPU's game. Their global phones are legit and already the only choice to buy a value phone below 400€ and not overpay. With tax included, they are already 100€ cheaper than in EU. Even without a 30-40€ coupon you can get on sales (which there are plenty of and not just petty 6-8% sale black friday & christmas. If the gpu in usa is ~500 eur after tax & in eu it's 750 there is place for aliexpress to sell it for 600 and still make a profit.

Great video from a small YTber but can I request you run something like Uniengine or running the actual benchmarks in games? It would help people get a visual grasp of the actual benchmarks of the PCs you build compared to others :)

Oh the pre-installed CPU is a nice touch. I like the form factor you went with. I have been considering doing a small build like that for an editing rig. Maybe in a year or so tho after the 50XX series from NVIDIA. Respectable gaming benchmarks for such a budget build as well. Nicely done.

Loved this video i myself recently bought a 5600xt on my local market because it was cheaper than a gtx 1660 super and its faster than a 1660 super. Ive considered buying off AliExpress. I didn't know theres special coupons i will have to check that out. The only thing ive noticed is you can sometimes get a cheaper price if you're new to their website with some sellers. But i live in Australia so maybe different to Europe.

The 6600m and the new-but-elusive 7600m desktop adapted gpus are gold if you can find them The 6600m is just a binned 6600 non xt with lower power draw for very similar performance (way better when OCd), same applies for the 7600m.
