America's Warrior Partnership
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 14 ก.พ. 2014
America’s Warrior Partnership is committed to partnering with communities to prevent veteran suicide.
Veteran suicide is a tragedy impacting the family and the entire community. Suicide has been a multi-generational issue that has not been accurately addressed on many levels - societal, governmental, and organizational, which has resulted in a lack of practical solutions to identify and solve what is causing veteran suicide.
America's Warrior Partnership (AWP) leads this work through relationships with communities to serve the veteran, their families, and caregivers. By fostering and building these relationships, we help to make the connections at the local level.

If you want to fix Community Care stop letting the Whole Health program steal Community Care funds to force veterans to learn eastern doctrine.

My grandfather served as well...He had applied with Navajo Nation Housing years ago...they kept saying no funding...Navajo Nation is a JOKE !! they help only ppl they know...real talk
Hello, we're sorry to hear about your grandfather's situation. Please contact Dine Naazbaa Partnership through the following form. They will do everything they can to help. www.tfaforms.com/4829685
If someone loses paperwork, if you miss a meeting, you have to start all over from square one on a process that takes decades to come to fruition.
Yet, we allowed others to enter our land(USA), and they just came. We have Native Vets that don't have a home or anything from our Gov. Yet, we don't get help.... that's why i don't want anymore to enter our country!!!!..this is indigenous land, our's. Go home!!
❤❤💯
My uncle who’s a veteran got his home built long time ago but he never really moved in, he passed on though never really got to enjoy it… 1 son left, he claims it but he lives in Montana. Home just sitting there empty gettin beat up by the sun and elements
Why don’t you contact Dine Naazbaa Partnership and tell them about the situation. Can’t hurt to try. Peace and respect to your Nation.
That's shameful:(
You know what? The Diné nation does not give a crap in there vets. There are a lot of vets waiting for homes. Even the freakin younger veteran. All they do is provide older vets there homes but what happens after that? They end up passing away. So why don’t you all focus on the younger vets. Specially those who are retired like my husband. He dedicated 20 years of his life to the military. And we have our acre to where we wanted a home built. But since he’s younger and had a life plan to buy a home rather then live under others roof, he was told he’s not a first priority. Navajo nation sucks. They don’t give the young vets the homes they deserve. They give it to the older generation trying to gain compassion but yet those old vet end up passing away within the 3 years. And who gets it after the freeloaders the low life people waiting for them to pass away. Navajo nation sucks. Give the younger vets the home they deserve specially the ones who made the military there life and retired.
There's alot of veterans that need help on navajo nation, and it takes a long time for them to get help, even from chapter house too. Our people fight for us, and they shouldn't wait over 5yrs!
The current US regime is just handing out millions of dollars to house illegals in hotels and motels. This country is a*** backwards, sad.
That's me to asking for a home now but it's not going there , ship rock not going anywhere , been waiting to long for paperwork .I all so went to war !
Hello, thank you for your service. We would like the opportunity to see how we can help. Please contact Dine Naazbaa Partnership through the following form. The DNP team will do everything they can to help. www.tfaforms.com/4829685
Ask the Navajo nation why they refuse to help their own people !
It's not the Navajo nation issue. To help people understand how homes are built for people. They must go through a process. The Navajo nation consist of divided areas called Chapters. Each Chapter has an Elected mini council. People belong to these chapters and vote for their chapter officers. For people to get homes built. They must go to the chapter they reside in. They fill out the required forms and they go before the chapter council. The gentleman must attain a Homesite lease. Once the lease is approved. The land goes before the land inspection by the department that oversees archaeological sites. Fees must be paid in advance. Then once approved. The veteran house can be built. Now the process of who is going to build his home. Water . Electrical. Sewer and on and so forth. All of this must be spearheaded by someone. I understand the gentleman concern and his issues. But, it's the Chapter council that must answer as to why the veteran is not being placed ahead so his home can be built.
Too much red tape, chapter official pocketing money, nepotism....veterans last.
They make the people jump through hoops, instead of having one office, one must go here and there.
It's not the chapter the veterans have their own office at the veteran affair. Me I gave up on them no help
@@2nickles647 I'm on the rez...I know the process...drive right in front of fire rock casino and look across the street at sundance...go up about a mile is ONE OR MANY NAVAJO HOUSING look at the area...look at the rest of sundance....go up the road 5miles...church rock..look at the area....this is partof the NAVAJO NATION....ALL AROUND THAT CASINO has no help FROM THE NATION
It's about our resilience to continue to move forward.
