Zoo visit by Jesse and Albert! 10-23-23
This was an exciting visit to the zoo, and much more comfortable weather than I prior hot summer visits. Jesse and I make this an annual tradition and have done so for maybe 10 years. The biggest attraction for us, as in previous years was the Gorillas. Certainly, they are not that happy, but somehow we were able to enjoy them tremendously. If you'd like to read a well-presented article on the pro's and con's of zoos, check out: www.procon.org/headlines/zoos-top-3-pros-and-cons/
Anyhow, for us, zoos are a fabulous ways to experience what nature has to offer.
To Jesse: Thanks for going with me. Let's do it again next year!

Matisse Show Philadelphia Art Museum - November, 2022
มุมมอง 3.3Kปีที่แล้ว
The Matisse show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art is on now and is quite magnificent! That is, if you like Matisse. But as a friend of mine wisely said, "Who doesn't like Matisse?" True, my video is long at nearly 5 minutes, But yo can move past images you do not like and linger where you prefer, right? A caution: Don't let my video substitute for attending in person. I only caught a fraction ...

Matisse's Red Studio - memory of a visit to the MOMA on June-25, 2022
มุมมอง 762 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello friends, We enjoyed a fine time at the Museum of Modern Art today. Like many people I enjoy Matisse’s use of full rich color. But many painters can also use such colors. What distinguishes him, in my opinion, is the way he creates a total ambience of peace and joy in life. I hope you enjoy this brief video, and perhaps you’ll make it to the museum sometime soon! Flowers from Albert - recent years!

Dear friends, To help ring in Springtime, I am sending you the linked video of flowers from recent years. You will see, in no particular order: daffodils, coleus, daisies, orchid, sweet William, lily, tulips, asters, zinnias, poinsettias, someone you may know, and more. All of these shots are from my neighborhood or Longwood Gardens. One possible exception is the bougainvillea, which do not gro...

I know this is an old post but as a kid my Grandmother would siing only the last two verses! She knew it belonged to an entire song but simply could not recall it. I don't think it's a coincidence but she was raised in Brooklyn too, born in 1917....

Omg! My husband was reaching for the words to this song, so I went to TH-cam and found you~ He grew up in Brooklyn and went to P.S. 152… he is Sephardic and knew a whole bunch of Casorla’s! This is a bit of a nostalgic journey! 🎃🍁🍂…. Thank you!

Beautiful video by you, playwrightguy. Well done. Great length. Not too long not too short. Leave's em wanting more. That's how to make a vacation vacation video, playwrightguy. This is what I am trying to do with our Panama vacation 2016 video. I am still doing the editing and trying to decide what music to add. I got a few questions for you though. Where did you start your vacation from? Was it a cruise, or was it an all-inclusive type thing? I heard you mention hotel in this video. Which was it? Would you go back to Antigua? Please endeavor to answer all them questions as this is how we learn from each other. I am Canadian, and our Panama vacation was the all-inclusive Royal Decameron, Rio Hato, Panama and it was an absolute blast. We stayed for 2 weeks. Like you, we rented a car and toured a lot. We went on a total of 5 road trips. It was the best vacation ever. I would definitely go back to Panama and would recommend it to anyone. But there's other places I'd like to see too including Antigua, St John, Tortola, St Marteen, St Vincent, Barbados..etc...Thanks for sharing your moments playwrightguy
