You spoke about neo nazi and right wing movements being destructive which I fully agree. But so are left wing and communist movements, such as China and its human rights abuses, Stalinists and state murdering of its owns citizens, Cambodia likewise. It's not only a right wing problem

Mind can control both the brain n body of both self n others Mind if practice can modulate emotional swings When one is practicing hard awareness , it will become strong enough to know your own mind n emotions n tame your mind n emotions It will become separate.. this observer mind will have a power to uplift your mind n emotions if you are down You have to be tough to let go of .. only need to be aware n let go of

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your research and all your contributions. It is very nice to hear that compassion is now being researched with such commitment. But now I wonder whether this supposedly female or female-capable motivation can also have a negative impact. As a young man, I read a lot about how supposedly feminine behavior lowers testosterone levels (e.g., when men take care of their children) and negative effects on their bodies were observed as a result. Accordingly, I wonder if you have also observed, or are aware of, negative effects on testosterone or other biological markers from compassion exercises. For a long time, this thought has prevented me from acting out my caring, supposedly feminine side.

to which papers are you refering to if you say that it leads to lower testosterone levels when taking care of children? I can only speak for myself as women but I find it highly attractive when men are not fullfilling the "classic" masculine stereotype but are not afraid to show their sensitivity, their caring espescially towards children. For me theres nothing more beautiful to see my partner interacting with his child.

I have just recently come across Graham Music's work. Having worked extensively with offenders and victims within Probation and within prisons, I feel Music was very much on the ball in relation to my own experiences. One of the toughest aspects of my work was endeavouring to get staff to grasp the concept of understanding why violent men acted the way they did.

Thank you for sharing this film. I intend using it in a rehabilitation and recovery group context in mental health services. In particular, it will be useful with the challenge of alcohol and drugs and the critical voices that have been part of people's experiences both prior to and post addiction cycles. Again, many thanks.
