2019 Kohler CH1000 Engine Teardown
Here is a teardown of a Kohler CH1000 that was manufactured in 2019. I specify this because in 2020 Kohler went back to manufacturing all of their command (specifically the CH940-CH1000) engines with all steel camshafts as opposed to steel camshaft with a plastic cam gear.

    Hello, I have a cub cadet gt2544 with a Command engine. They are fantastic, but the smaller engines have a nylon oil pump gear. What do you think about those gears being nylon?
