oh no. I just found him and watched a few videos. I thought he was okay. Sad

I unsubbed from Mug during the whole Concord era. Game had legit faults and is by all metrics the single biggest case study in AAA game mismanagement on a first party dev level. And it DOES have admittedly ugly character designs but he (and a lot of others who I thought were levelheaded) decided to focus ONLY on the art direction "pushing an agenda" and didnt give a second thought about upper level company mismanagement and stupid megacorps funding stupid pet projects as the core reason. Very very disappointing to see him continue down the pipeline, because I could see the heel turn coming. Whatever valid points he did make were completely eaten away when the mask fell off. And him using the constant Wukong glazing as a shield against criticism was crazy- clearly only mentioning it not because it was a good new game but the fact it was developed in China about Chinese mythology meant it literally could NOT include any "agenda pushing," as if the lack of diversity was the sole reason for its quality.

Yeah, I'm even a little apprehensive about having come out as a demiman within the past year. I could slip back into the closet and try to ride out this storm as an old white man who just occasionally seems a little "light in my loafers" per unconscious mannerisms, but I've literally got nothing left to lose, and that's actually freeing. And I also recall that when I came out, the best help and support I received in sorting it all out was from an online community of trans women. Just being myself, I've already commented to a stranger in the laundromat that I'd like to bear Christian witness to the idolators who inflicted Trump on us and try to lead them back to their original faith before they lose it. And now when I go to the grocery store they treat me like a suspected shoplifter for it. Nothing left to lose.
