I was taught that your seatbelt must be on..especially when driving to check steering wheel deviation. I was told by instructors that the dmv would fail you for not wearing your seatbelt.

For some reason my comment is not showing up but the gist of it was it's a nice clean rig and for any of you guys that don't know if you add a marker light the fdot can't stop you if one of those burns out for an a non-functional marker even if you added it. The thing I went to add and I realized my comment wasn't there is that you can use a penny to check the tread of your tires. If the tread is below Lincoln's head when you flip the penny upside down then you need to change your tires because that's about the same depth gauge they're going to use when they check your tires if they stop you. Everybody that's running a rig please stay safe. Anybody that's following around a rig or behind a rig please be courteous. Remember if you want to let them over just flash your lights at them three times and if someone lets you over the courteous thing to do is to hit your cautions and let them flash three times as a thank you.

I would recommend getting two locks keys the same way, hard to cut storage locker great to use for those. What I did was I welded a chain to the bottom of each one and bolted them to the frame so that I don't have to worry about my locks missing. My friend went one step further and drilled a hole in the frame on each side so that he could lock his locks to the frame when he wasn't using them. Stay safe man, clean living rig. PS this is something I probably don't have to tell this man but for any of you that are adding lights to your truck remember that once any of those lights burn out fdot can technically stop you for a improper marker light, even if you added that light. Know your rights and know the laws!

Thank you very much. Im in my first week of cdl school, and my 'trainers' are horrible. Not explaining much, not going threw everything thoroughly . They just show up and chill, while the students that have been there longer then the new students are helping us out. Imma do my best but i definitely went to the wrong school

Being a female truck driver in Canada in very hard. I’m a Muslim woman and have had my license for nearly 4 years. I get rejected to almost all the jobs I apply for when people I know (men) who have their licenses for less then 6 months get the jobs. There’s a lot of racism towards women especially black Muslim women in Canada mostly becouse 90% of the truck companies are Indian. I faced so much hate and discrimination from them even now 😢I wish I could move to the states where everyone one has equal opportunity 💔

thats a hefty one! lol I got my CDL at New Reflections a few weeks ago. I had so much support from my instructors to the admin team everybody was so helpful and supportive getting me through. I didn't know how I was gonna do it all I knew is I HAD to do it! I put in the work. Now as a single mother of 4 I will be able to provide for my children and my self. God will do some amazing things indeed. Glory to the most High! #ThankYouNewReflections
