Used Makita drills and power tools for years, always good quality. After a few years using my Makita PLM5121 I can honestly say the quality is garbage. The deck fractured around the handle attachment points, I've just repaired them both by mig welding some plates on it. The deck in general suffers badly from cracks and rust and I'm pretty careful with it, clean it off for winter storage. The Briggs engine shaft is very prone to bending when you hit a rock, not a Makita fault I know but irritating. If you're a pro mower user it's not up to constant use, get something else. Ok for domestic use but will cost you in repairs.
The mower needs a bit pimping, at the very beginning I added big washers to all screws to get a better mechanical connection, the screw area is simply to little. I did some more finetuning, also glued the handle bar at the lower pins with PU window glue to get a solid contact and sealed the deck inside. So, it's China made but still better than most other mowers in this category. I can also tell: Sharpen the blade when it's new. Also bold it on with 50 Nm, it got plastic 'clutch-washers' so if it hits anything, the engine shaft should not bend. Still a relatively thick shaft, I saw thinner ones on other mowers in this range. But to be honest, a real good mower tends to cost double as much.
@@yo3429 good advice! Too be fair after welding the deck mounting points, beating the crap out of crankshaft with a lump hammer, I think I'll get some more seasons out of it. Anyone buying one of these should be aware they are not built like tanks though. Your pimping up sounds a very good idea, a stitch in time! Happy mowing.

Yes i recommend this Rapid stapler with Rapid staples, it works exactly without any problems,..... but there are problems with the rubber parts, coming off

Ich habe die einzylindrige Variante davon jetzt seit 8 Jahren. Er ist dicht und funktioniert bisher tadellos.
