They do help allot. If you Wana go crazy I like to gear down the rear axle as well the front spinning faster has some advantages

@RockRehabRc little overdrive always helps. Seems like 14-33% is the sweet range with it. But awesome video!

We are doing an Injora build on one soon watch for it if you wanna see how the cheaper aftermarket parts do compared to the redcat brand ones

It's got Injora +4 mm axles with rotor wheel spacers +6mm putting it a cm wider on either side. Driveshafts are Injora.

@@RockRehabRc how did you get the steering links and steering servo to fit?

@@clarkgreen1564 had to Dremel off the little tabs form the stand up servo to get the lay down servo to work, then I bought link ends brass stock from ace and a cheap die and made the links

We tried 6 cars on it and only a few would make it, all highly modded. It's definitely a hard one

@@pugman2.0 check out the Redcat Ascent 18 it's one of the more capable options and it's also the cheapest option. Great out of the box although like them all brass wheels and new tires is a nice upgrade to start with The blue one on our channel only has wheels/tires

Although the bigger tires do raise the weight I think it's balanced because the brass wheels are so much heavier it helps stabilize it and the better a approach angle helps with some tricky situations

@@RockRehabRc yeah I’m just learning 4ws myself finding it fun to try something new. To be strange I did it on my ecto lol trailing arms and 4ws good fun on the trails

Realizing how many way 4ws help and hurts is kinda like relearning how to crawl and pick lines

If you're taking about that line near the end I tried to go up the cliff sideways but couldn't get enough traction. I'm sure it would of done it some how but I only had the one shot to get it right 🤷‍♂️

The bronco amazes us all the time it's a little monster! And the gladiator is among our most capable trucks it's hard to beat

I'm hoping Injora comes out with some soon I want to do an aftermarket build to challenge the redcat upgraded one

@@RockRehabRc RIGHT! The Injora stuff is priced really well! I cut the front of the frame off of mine so that it didn't hit the steering servo and then that ESC plate in the rear, I cut it in half and put 1 by the top front shock mounts and 1 by the rear top shock mounts and put magnets on it being as I could no longer use the clipless mounting solution.

I love how many ways each one of these can come out different. You never find 2 just alike

Injora has room for improvement but honestly they are the best we have found. There are a few that claim to be longer but some are miss advertised and others just have cheap parts and hang up... Injora can be hit or miss with their qc but they are the best option I can recommend

We have broken a body, the body is too soft to pick it up from and the bumper tore after a while. we have learned to pick it up from the bottom and the others are doing a lot better. luckily they are pretty cheap for this guy just hang on to your mounts, they don't come with new ones!
