a speedrun of Half-Life 2: Lost coast in 12 seconds and 850 milliseconds, performed on the Old engine, specifically on build 2707 from 2006. Improvable but close to good. tried beating this for 200 resets afterwards but couldn''t do it.

Is this on easy difficulty? It changes nothing about the run I just wanna know. Probably a good thing for speedruns to be on because less damage = more techs
@@thebusinessmn1114 Yes, in hl2 specifically there is no advantage to higher difficulties. We also don't ban changing it mid run.

Thats not a run of HL2, it's a run of a mod that removes all cutscenes and ports the movement from half life 1. Prolert likes to be a bit clickbaity with his titles and tbf it's working.
