This was a lot of fun! I think this was one of the first Sad Sack comics I ever owned. You would have thought Sack would have recognized the general especially with those sunglasses! You have a great collection of Sad Sacks!

This Spider-Man Comic IS a classic.

Wow, that was a short one! I know some of the Pout Pout books are for beginning readers so that must have been one of them. His costumes were interesting. The illustrations really complement the stories.

I had this one when I was a kid! I didn't remember any of the stories though. The last story with the hundred dollar bill was really good. Another great Sad Sack reading! I always look forward to these.

Another great Pout Pout Fish adventure! I really like the positive messages and happy endings. Also appropriate since fish travel in schools. It looks like there are at least 23 more Pout Pout books, hopefully you will read them all!

I enjoyed this later Harvey comic reading. By this time, Harvey was run by people other than the original Harvey family, and they no longer had the rights to Sad Sack, which the Harvey family kept the copyright to. The Harvey family released a few new Sad Sack issues in the '90's under their Recollections Lorne-Harvey banner.

I really like the Pout Pout Fish. You can tell he is much happier in this book since he learned he is really a Kiss Kiss fish. The illustrations are wonderful too!

Very excited about watching this before bed tonight! I always love to see your Sad Sack videos; I'm pretty sure I had this issue but haven't seen it in decades.

Good old Sad Sack, Sarge, and Slob Soblinsky. Use to read these in the seventies which is when it transitioned over from the original creator to a new artist. My favorite was the one where they tour Massachusetts.

I was at a 3 for $1.00 comic book sale today and got around 65 books. I came home to find this great video to watch; thank you so much! I never can find issues of Sad Sack anymore, but I found some other fun humor magazines and comics.

Can anyone say "Vampirella" rip-off? I mean even her mono-kini is almost identical.

I think this person should know that this was Walt Disney's first movie.

I remembered that this movie is on Disney plus and it's also in the program Once Upon a Studio. But it's also on Walt Disney presents.

This is a surprise! I love these regular Sad Sack readings! It was neat how Sad Sack had so many spin-off titles, Sad Sack and the Sarge, Sad Sack's Funny Friends, Sad Sack Laugh Special, Sad Sack's Army Life Parade, Sad Sad Sack World, Sad Sack USA Vacation, etc.

What year was published?

From the brief time Sad Sack was in the Navy. I had this comic when I was a kid; it's great to read through it again with you! I remember Gabby Gob had his own comic books featured periodically in the Harvey Hits title of the 1960's which is probably where the second half of the comic is reprinted from. Similar to how the Little Sad Sack stories in the previous comic you read were likely reprinted from his own title of the 1960's.

Thank you so much for another Sad Sack reading, and I hope they will be a regular feature! It's funny how the book turned into an issue of Little Sad Sack in the second half! You should also read some Archie's Madhouse comics. I look forward to your videos each day!

Also, please read some more comic books like Josie & The Pussycats, the Betty & Veronica series, and an oldie but goodie, My Friend Irma from the radio series of the same name that aired on CBS from 1947 to 1954. 😀
