have you tried to shield the coils with ferromagnetic material to reduce reluctance by a lot , increasing magnetic flux?
So much bullshit in the first point. You cant "push out" a proejctile OUT of a coil.
He's using a magnet as a projectile. Magnetic repulsion.
the magnetic field doesnt go away completely after the coil is turned off either. the B field decays quickly but its not insignificant. if a magnet was used, it would be more strongly attracted to beging with, allow switching, and negate some residual drag from the non-instantaneous drop in voltage

The parameter of mine is 420V and 560μF
The reason the magnet was slowed when falling through the aluminium tube was because it was generating an eddy current. As the magnet fell, it was creating distubances in the electrons of the metal pipe, which generated a brief electric field, dispersing its kinect energy into electrical energy. This can only happen to a noticable degree if the tube is complete, or of substantial mass. If you cut a slit down the length of the tube, you will break the "circuit" and the eddy currents produced will be MUCH weaker. This is better than using the plasic tube since metals have lower friction co-efficients and have more wear resistance. Hope that physics break-down helped.

Has this guy never heard of rubber bands? The spring is also something he might look into. If he is sold on using magnetic force, then, he should look into rail guns. It seems to me that this vid was pointless.

So why when you put the neodymium magnet inside the electromagnet it shoots and not stick to it?
I've placed the neodymium magnet in this way, that the magnetic field is opposite direction of the magnetic field of the coil.

Cześć, jak jest z gazowanymi napojami(zaraz po otwarciu)? robie podobną i mam problem z ustawieniem proporcji.. Napoje niegazowane super.. ale na gazowanych się przejechałem.. jak jest mocno gazowane to inaczej dozuje wiadomo.. niby można czasy wydłużyć ale załóżmy że napój będzie stać i się odgazuje i wtedy proporcje inne.. w tym projekcie widzę że jest jakiś tensometr.. no to ew po wadze można brać.. u mnie jest czujnik dotyku..z góry dzięki za info (z tym gazem):D thx. Fajny projekt!:)
Gazowane napoje dozują się dobrze, bo wlewanie opiera się o wagę (tensometr jest pod półką, na którą stawia się szklankę). Minus z gazowanym jest to, że minimalnie się rozgazowuje.
