Hello, my name is Mark. There are over 800 miles of hiking trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you are fortunate enough to hike them all, you will have hiked well over 900 miles. My goal is to become a member of the 900 Miler Club.

This is the meaning behind my channel name. And this is my journey to become a 900 Miler of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Who knows if I will ever make it to 900 miles, but I will enjoy it anyway. Several people have asked me "If you like hiking so much, why travel up to the National Park instead of just hiking around here?" There are a lot of nice places to hike around here to be sure. But comparing Great Smoky Mountains National Park hiking with most anything else is like comparing a Corvette to a Chevette.

While many of my videos will be about hiking in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I will also include videos about other parks and other hiking trails on this channel, plus some local events as well.
