Janet I’m in Aus and just bought three of the same beds over here. I have an original large tall bed I bought over 14 years ago it’s still perfect I had numerous in my old home but downsized and sold them just keeping one. Thinking I wouldn’t grow veggies again but here I am growing in pots. So yes more beds purchased but not the high ones as filling would be a challenge here. It was great to see another lady putting them together. A woman after my own heart. Good luck

Hi Janet you showed us how you put the bed together but you didnt show how to start preparing the g/ bed. Its most important to show us what you put in the base step by step whether its cardboard or wood etc. Hope you show the technic in future!

I love my birdies beds, but all mine so far are the tall ones. I did order 4 of the ones that you put together in this video because I have a different plan for those compared to the tall beds.. Going to make 2 boxes into a single bed for a total of 2 bed and then run cattle fencing in an arch from one to the other to make an arbor for grapes. The grapes will be next year addition but want to get the beds ready as soon as they come. I almost used carpenters cloth for my beds but decided not to because I wanted to make sure the dragonflies and praying mantis could get access. Although it also allows birds to get access too so maybe I will go back and add that. I did my hoops a bit different but same concept. The only thing I put on the hoop house right now is green house plastic, for the very short winter that we get. It’s nice because it seems to get the job done on keeping plants alive that normally wouldn’t make it. Beats digging up my best pepper plants every year and potting them up inside.
