@beyonce has achieved another (2) lifetime award(s) - the elusive, "ALBUM OF THE YEAR" GRAMMY for her 8th Studio effort, COWBOY CARTER.
After 25 years of painstaking patience and perfection, being crowned the most GRAMMY awarded artist of all time, Beyoncé conquered another milestone by achieving a title that had been denied for stronger, and proportionately impactful bodies of work - this opened the ceremony to criticisms that examined legitimacy of the voting guild/systems.
Still, the victory is a curse lifted.
As the crowd launched to their feet to embrace this triumph, there wasn't a dry eye in the arena.
With Blue Ivy bound to her arms, the Queen was heralded with a roaring applause, and with honour from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
She dedicated the moment to another Black artist.
The Country Music pioneer, Linda Martell.
