Very helpful explanation, and especially drawing out how God is so present in all these events in his world - and how it's exactly the same now. We need more of this to understand the times and what we should do. The great men of God all seem to have practical skills - how to be productive in his world, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Daniel .... Paul, and supremely the Son. That's all part of having a vision of and love for the Father.

It's not forgiveness to demand that SOMEONE recompense for an injury. You have not understood anything. TRUE forgiveness is what is demanded of you - to forgive someone. But your "god" demands that someone recompense him for his "injury" - the slight of not being kowtowed to. Oh, sure. You can play that game of Jesus was god and so god himself paid for the crime of sin. But someone STILL was required to pay. MERCY is the waiving of justice, not the substitution of penitent - BY the mechanism of grace. That is totally NOT what your god did. He COULD just forgive. In fact Solomon implores his forgiveness in 1 Kings 8 without any need for a blood magic sacrifice. Recall that NO BLOOD was spilled in Eden so why would any be required now? Because god says so? That's not love. That's not mercy. That's not grace. And that is not LOVE. That is the vindicative act of a grotesque narcissistic monster.

I appreciated listening tonight you share these three points/lessons we can get from this story of Abraham pleading for Sodom. God is good ALL THE TIME!

You start off reading the Bible, which is captivating on it's on. Then you stop and go into flesh mode to have a jumping competition. This is not good. The House of God is to a be a House of Prayer, and a House of Worship. Not a house of entertainment or gimmicks. I ended the video once you started jumping because you lost my respect
