Another board featuring a screen - similar to the GMK67-S and GMK81, but a TKL version. Client wanted purple so we gave them purple (even the switches - which are Hyacinth v2us, are purple!)

Akko Dracula - switch with a hole???

So we have yet another linear switch from Akko - the Akko Dracula. As opposed to the last switch (botany), these are Akko's first attempt at using POK as a material. @@kWyboard great! Do you think applying more lube makes a significant difference?
@@toad725 haven't really tried but it will have some impact, may not be that noticeable tho unless you strip the stock lube and re-lube it on your own

Good, but I personally prefer more thocky switches. I also like more advanced looking keycaps & cases. Keyboards are really just personal preference sometimes.

had the stabs relubed (cause for good measure) and added tape mod :) i think i also removed the PET Film on the PCB - cant remember hehe
Hello! For the tape mod, did you use masking tape or electrical tape?
@@toandiep47 painter's tape! But masking tape is fine - if you're worried about sparking a fire, you can put electrical tape in the outer layer 😅

@@toandiep47 never had any that's why I'm comfortable using it always - although nowadays, boards with batteries would have a film protecting it from any electrical shorts that may happen so you're fine to put tape without having to worry

@@patrickrayyy factory lube is decent, tho it is uneven - nothing that overtime use couldn't fix! Also am curious and would be good to see someone else try and relube it but that would defeat the purpose of having it Pre-lubed

@@patrickrayyy smoothies is a closer comparison to the Rosewoods, HMX switches tend to be on the clackier side - you can check out my Lucky65 video, it features gateron Smoothies 😁
