So trying to merge Dak's weapons, followed the steps, but the folder that is created doesn't have a esp in there, does that mean something went horrifically wrong? Oh am using MO2.

HOLY HELL IT WORKED! Okay, I have no idea where I was failing back in Feb trying to merge some mods for a buddy, but it never worked. I followed what you did and it worked perfectly! Thank you for this! EDIT: Never mind. It only appeared to work. Trying to merge 4 old perk mods together and it is failing miserably. It isn't actually merging the edited lines. It's just overriding as if the esp files were in load order like normal.

I just want to upgrade all if not most textures with as stable performance as possible, is that too much to ask for lol?

If you use the Vortex Mod you will find out Loot will do it for you. Here is a clue do not use Blueprint Mods with Animation Mods or Character or Follower Mods. By default mods like AAF, The Unlimited Companions Mod, and the Nora Spouse Companion Mod need to go on the bottom and Look Menu, Fallout Script Extender, and all main files go above it. What not to do is install a blueprint mod and unorder your dlc. Blueprint mods are unorganized you will crash your game if you do this if you want to use a blueprint use the vanilla versions of the blueprint and leave your buildings alone. Do Not run scrap mods and blueprints at the same time and read the instructions the biggest sources of crashes is people running scrap mods while homemaker is turned on or the AAF window is open. Do Not do this! you will crash fallout and AAF will not work if the blueprint has a scrap mod enabled turn it off or you will corrupt your ESM and ESL files which can cause a crash. Lastly only have one ESL file running at a time if you have 60 ESL files running Fallout will turn those into Gigs and it can cause a crash because of script data and your RAM being overclocked. Also if the mod is not compatible with your save it needs to be turned off. One example is the Nate Mod and Duel Companions they are not compositable with the Marriage Mod or the Expanded Story Mod. Another example is Bodyside Mods some of them are not compatible with AAF the only ones you should run are Atomic Muscle for the men and Fusion Girl for the women do not run CCBBE or any other mod and never run Super Hero with Atomic Muscle it can corrupt your character and cause the stretch effect. Also if you are going to install overlays using Body Slide or the Look Menu they need to be the same type Armor Resources is not compatible with Fusion Girl use the Skimpy Outfit Mod instead neither are clothing and hair mods. If you are going to use the puby mod or the underwear mod they need to match your character or you don't install them.

I'd like to merge all my weapons mods together. Some of them are quite big, and I am wondering if this is even possible. Being able to categorize some of my similar mods would really come in handy. Thanks for the tutorial.

Been trying to get this to work for a LOOOONG time, but I just can't seem to get it to work with a whole lot of mods, most important to me of which are dismemberment and head wounds, as well as other blood texture mods. I feel like the people who get this absolute gigantic mod to work are extremely experienced modders. This mod has like over 3k comment posts. Many of those posts mention all kinds of different amazing mods that conflict with this, with no apparent workaround. I'm not a complete ditz when it comes to modding. I'm just not THAT great, far from an expert. But I manage to get the rest of my stuff working ok. THIS mod, in particular, seems amazing, but like thousands of people out there, I just cannot get it to play nicely with other mods and had to give up. Wish the mod author came back and made smaller, less complex packs for if you're like me and really only wanted a few features from this anyway.

Not a fix at all. The BAE thing doesn't open, the files mentioned in the meshes folder don't exist, there are no rust devil files, etc. Complete waste of time.

I have both a BSA and an ESP.Save file. Do i copy them both or just the ESP????

If this works half as well as the last skyrim mod order tutorial i watched, im gonna be thanking the shit out of you. Skyrim and fallout have been unplayable for me through 2020(and you can imagine how hellish that sounds amidst quarantine in michigan(karen left and took our rights.)) I fixed my skyrim order, and now it plays rather well(little laggy but hey at least its not crashing). If this fixes my fallout game, i will give you my secondborn child(my firstborns too cute to give away.)

For anyone having issues running MergePlugins with Mod Organizer 2: You'll need to add MergePlugins.exe as an executable to Mod Organizer 2 in the same way you would do with F4SE, FO4Edit, etc. Launching MergePlugins without doing so will result in only the base .esm files loading. Launching MergePlugins through MO2 will show every single mod you have installed, but I've yet to try to merge anything as I'm unaware if there are any discrepancies with it and MergePlugins. Unsure if anyone else has pointed this out, but wanted to post this as I don't see anything related to this near the top. MergePlugins still works today with Mod Organizer 2.
