I’m not a Bears fan, but Caleb Williams statistically is one of the best rookie quarterbacks in literal NFL history. You should check your stats for rookies. Not calling a timeout right after the sack was the first mistake but then seeing that your rookie QB is being totally oblivious to the time on the clock running out is when you as the HEAD COACH call the damn timeout for him. Then when he gets to the sidelines rip your QB for not being aware of the situation & then call something that gets you out of bounds. Letting Caleb run out the clock when you have a timeout in your pocket is 10000% on Eberflus! Eberflus should've been fired after New England alongside Waldron. Out of all the garbage this season that remains rock bottom to me. Getting manhandled on your own homefield by a 2 win team is easily the worst this team has looked. BTW, the Patriots have yet to win another game since coming into Chicago & dominating the Bears!

Caleb has a worse oline than Justin did in his first year look at how well Justin did w that oline. Roster construction and coaching is our problem. Dude your take is bad. The locke room loved Fields and tried to tell Poles that none of the rookies were better than Fields. And Warren said on TV that if it were up to him he would not trade Fields. Also I was at the last game Fields played in Chicago and the chants that filled Soldier Fields that said "We Want Fields". The Bears did not listen and now they are the laughing Joke of the NFL. SMH

I don't know if you understand how please go but realistically there's only a few plays that quarterbacks check to at the line and giving Caleb as a rookie he shouldn't have even been in that situation when Maddie ever who started it was taken too long he should have been the way mature person which he is and use that time out to get his team correct there's been too many indecisions and mess ups that can only be accredited to coaching That's the reason why Flus is not Caleb. But I get it we do have some Bears fans that are so scorn that they don't even know what reality looks like realistically Caleb has been the best thing we've ever seen it as a rookie quarterback and yet we look past that because of what character issues which are a personal preference anyway😂 Bringing up any money that any NFL player makes it somewhat redundant if you're bringing it up like that because every first run traffic quarterback has a lot of money regardless of the team that fixed them. Caleb takes responsibility over every single thing that he has done unlike the coach who has made sure to speak in a way that was clearly not being accountable until the last two weeks of him clearly meeting fired and on his way out. If Caleb threw for $300 a game that would be one of the most amazing things ever for Chicago If you were a real Chicago Bears fan you would understand the value of that itself and you would also understand that winning is a team thing so it takes your team to win If your defense doesn't necessarily match up with everyone else's offense then that's an issue so given we had an okay defense with a growing offense that didn't work out with horrible coaching and having a bad play collar. And actually Caleb took as much responsibility he could for that situation but realistically every single analyst and fan that no sports knows at the end of the day that was a call that the coach should have made when he came down to the timeout. Also anyone knows that whenever you have a rookie having a winning season is just a plus on top of his overall development so given this is Chicago's first time ever having a quarterback that was valued four years before he even came to the NFL as the best thing ever and that's from every single team's standards before he even got drafted clearly the development of certain players on your team is more important than wins because that's looking at the bigger picture. But of course us as fans we want the win but if you're being realistic with yourself when your team drafts a rookie winning should be maybe the third thing on your list next to the quarterback and the teams overall development and chemistry. It's very good and something to be happy about when firing a coach for the first time ever in a team's history when we see things going bad we don't want to waste Caleb's potential that's the whole point.

Lotta people were saying Love was a bust halfway through 2023. The difference, is, Caleb was touted as the next big thing and Bears fans and Caleb himself made Caleb's slow start risible, while Jordan Love was viewed as a colossal mistake. It's easier to tolerate somebody's faults when they're not talking about teams giving them an ownership stake in return for drafting him.

Personally the weird flag i had for Celab in college was i never heard one of his linemen say anything really good about him. At usc all linemen gave cookie cutter answers. good leader good athlete but it always felt like they just said it. Everyone said the bears line improved at the end of year, so i cant help but think Caleb aided in deterioration of that line.
