I can't remember the last time I was this motivated to edit. This show is really doing something to me. Anyhow, this is not really a character study but rather a little showcase of the struggles Ava had with accepting her role as the warrior nun.
I'm planning on doing two more videos for Warrior Nun. One will focus on Beatrice and will be an in-depth character study because I haven't really seen that yet on youtube and I'd love to dive deeper into the complexity of her character. I struggle to find a good song tho, so if you have any recommendations please lmk. The second video will be kind of a compilation of the funny one-liners and badass fight scenes in connection with an upbeat song I think. The reason for that is simply that I really wanna make it.

Showing the parallels is such a cool touch- - Bea saying "trust me" and Ava saying "i do" to Ava saying "trust me" to Bea saying "you know i do" - Ava hugging Bea, and Bea not able to show the same kind of emotion, to Ava doing the same and Bea hugging her back - Every time Ava falls, Bea is always there to help her up - Bea saying "things change when you realize not everything is about you" to Ava saying "i'm scared of being alone", then Ava telling Bea to let her go and Bea refusing to do so because Bea's everything is about her - "they're never yours" being broken up by Ava leaving Bea time and time again These two seriously own my heart thank u for this edit lol

Even though I want more seasons because the series is really good, I think season 2 had a perfect ending if they wanted to stop the series. Textbook novella-ending. I just fear that they will do the same as supernatural did. In supernatural they had a gradual increase in severity/strength of the villains, but I felt that peaked pretty early in the show. Everything else after that made me think "is this it?". In warrior nun I feel like they are nearing the peak regarding villains, and I don't want them to do the same..

Don't mind me when I say 'Emotional Damage'. The hurt/comfort/angst/longing all the ao3 tags could be applied on both seasons. The cast crew delivered the masterpiece we all deserved. Now it's our part to watch the latest season as many times possible.
