Just goes to show once again how important proper gear is when riding a motorcycle. Without that incredible boot protecting you from the chain you could have lost your foot as a result of the massive injury you would have received to your ankle. Can you imagine if you were wearing sneakers....... Thank goodness you and the bike weren't hurt badly, normally they break a casing. I had a chain snap pulling away from a traffic light, then had to push the bike 7km home, no cell phones back then....

I really don't give a shit about what could've potentially happened to you...but the fact that you ride like that on roads that have other road users on them, the fact that you don't care about what could happen to them, to families with children in their cars if you come unstuck, says a lot about you. You want to ride like that? Go to a track where they hold "ride days" for the specific purpose of allowing riders to test themselves and their bikes without the risk of harming anyone else but yourself. You are a selfish wanker. And the worst part is, you have never even thought about what could happen to the occupants of a car with kids in it if you slam into it at 300kmh. Twat.
