Ok i need to get myself back to school. tonight i have learned that i dont fully know what a stab is by definition. My ignorant ass would have called these 'releases' which sounds naff as surely a release is just another word for 'not scratching-not-even-touching-the record', and doing nothing doesn't need another name 🤤.. but i could understand if these were backwards stabs but isnt the fader closed when the record is being pulled back in this short? Someone please help my dumb self figure this out 🙏
