I like your video. I am living in Indonesia for 4 years now and still not fluent. I know hundreds of words and can get by in daily conversation. But Bahasa Indonesia is confusing - I call it a backwards language. The object goes before the adjective, whereas in English it is the opposite. You are right, consistency is key. Sometimes I am a lazy student.

I also learn many languages,but in bahasa, when you say thank you or "terima kasih", it literally mean "care/love/attention received", some gives out a cake, it means that person looks after you = care, then the reply is "i receive (terima) the care (kasih)". Try dissect the sentence"

In my opinion best settings for undewater in Max ISO 400, sharpness medium or low and using UW-lights. Too much ISO is making worse picture quality and hight sharpness is making picture unnatural.

Can I ask did you go get dropped of at the probolingo train station at 2pm on the same day as you did the Mount Bromo sun rise or was it 2pm the day after? So you arrived in Banyuwangi on day 5 and did Mount Ijen on sunrise day 6 of your trip? Also as you are arriving later in the afternoon and doing trips early the following morning did you have to book anything in advance?

That was really good. Learning another language can be very difficult as everything, including grammar and structure are very different. I speak 7 languages, including Indonesian. A couple of tips for anyone wanting to learn, to include with this video, is 1) Don't overthink or look into the language so much whilst learning, 2) Do not learn word by word as said in the video, but meaningful context, and 3) Listen or watch to as many audio or videos as you can as understanding a native speaking at normal speed can be overwhelming and hard to understand. So if you already know how a sentence spoken at a normal speed is spoken, you will find it a lot easier to communicate efficiently. Hope this helps.
