When oh we’re changing the hub oil I chuckled when you sniffed the plug and said it doesn’t smell burnt, lol, I’m not a farmer but ran excavator for a big chunk of my life and spent a couple years in a Samsung that had 7800ish hours on it and we were doing the winter 1000hr service when she hit 10,000hrs and one side was fine, black like yours, but the other side? I threw up within a half minute, the smell of burnt gear oil is one of the only things in the world that will turn my otherwise cast iron stomach 😂 Our offices were connected to the shop and within 5 minutes the building emptied out because it stunk so bad and I had my machine in the furthest bay from there! We limped it along for a changing the hub oil every 150 hours to milk it through the crazy season
