Just wondering did you do this engraving on a fiber laser or co2? I got these cups in 20-30oz and tried running a 30oz on my 50w fiber laser and it just seems like it just burns through the rainbow plating even when I lower the power and frequency settings within light burn… do you mind letting me know how you achieved this pattern without burning pass the plating but just removing the powder coat?
I tired using a fiber laser for cups, but the fiber can affect the metal of the cup. So I use my co2 Galvo for a lot of my cups.

Have you tried Cylinder Correction in LightBurn? Could skip the rotary setup if the logo is about 80-85% the diameter of the cup.
Cylinder correction doesn’t work when you need to use a rotary. This design has items that go on both sides of the koozie.
Ever try acetone with a paper towel for cleanup? I use them, works SUPER fast and easy. Been thinking about a CO2 galvo but my volume isn't high enough to justify another machine. Doing about 200 cups a month max right now. ;)
I tried acetone once and it messed up the powder coating on the cup. I use Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray and a magic eraser sheet. I’ll give them a spray and clean them at the sink. It’s been working great for me.
Thanks this is interesting i use 0.05 line intervals i wonder how it would work with 0.05. Ill try as soon as possible .
Yeah it would, it would make the engraving faster. But just make sure to check the quality. I may do some more testing and tweaking after I finish this order.

I can use a rotary chuck and figure the settings but have not been able to figure out the 360 degrees, whe I do a test using only letter it only goes about 180 total and does not engrave past that point

OMTech must be a good brand because you have 2 of them. I’m doing some research to see which one is right for me. I’m torn between the XTool and OMTech 🤷🏼♂️
I love my omtech lasers. I haven’t had any issues with them at all. The best advice I can give is buy the bigger bed size you can afford and have room for.

Hi, depending on the design 40oz tumblers can take from 45-60 mins for a full wrap.
