The Rangers better put his name up in the rafters with all of the other legends.
I love Sam! He will be missed! Great show guys, can't wait until you have him back.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Sam Rosen and Walt Clyde Frazier are the forever voices of MSG!
IT'S A POWERPLAY GOAL!
In my take, Sam is a complete zero, makes a ton of mistakes with that moronic partner of his. His best???!!! When was that ever part of it? Give me Jim Gordon and the big whistle. The reason he is lauded is that most Ranger fans have no understanding of who came before this buffoon. My opinions and I'm sticking to it.
Feel better?
@@rangers09891994 No, but he will retire soon and then things might improve. I just hope he takes his hair with him.
Life must be rough…. hope you receive the help you’re seeking.
@@mcdob69That wasn't even clever. You have a Ranger logo as your symbol so this tells me you never truly grew up and most likely you are the type of person who wears a jersey to the game to "support the team." I played the game longer than you have been on this earth at many levels and forgot more hockey than you know. Take it easy kiddo, we can all have opinions.
@@user-ej3iq2to6w Appears you were a goalie long before the invention of protective headgear…. more than one too many to the coconut. Imagine trying to belittle an individual who may, or may not wear sports apparel to a game…. Yet fails to realize world wide sport’s appeal is nearly a $212 BILLION PER YEAR industry and growing year after year. People who make and sell sports apparel to put a roof over their heads, food on the table, contributing to society and you think you got me… for wearing a jersey?! You’re barking up the wrong tree… wanna-be Silver-Back.
Chills. YOU ARE A LEGEND SAM
Sam Rosen thank you for the legendary commentary you have given us ranger fans hopefully the blue shirts can give us one more memorable announcement out of you from the kid who grew up from Washington heights on 191st and st nick and got to grow up watching rangers hockey thanks to my dad working at the garden to watching messier raise the cup in person in 94 we will truly miss it and you are a ranger forever 🗽🔵🔴 #LGR
Sam is great!
THANK YOU SAM!
Sam has been a huge part of my life. 30+ years, listening to him. I’m going to miss him. I hope the MSG has him back in studio on occasion. Win one for Sam!
Love your content fellas
much love, thank you for watching❤
Andrew here -- I apologize for my mistake when talking about Zub. I was thinking about Nikita Zaitsev and mixed those two players up. Sorry about that.
Watched Sam since the days he had to tolerate Esposito lol Congrats Sam om a fabulous career and ty fellas for yet another great show
figures they sent Edstrom down...
on the depth sub training mode: until Coach is willing to sit injured players in favor of healthy subs, none of it matters. Broken guys "playing through it" have murdered this team again and again during the past stretch of playoff entries back to 2012.
It will be all Unicorns & Fairy Dust for the Regular Season.... Then the Real Season starts. The Rangers will never win anything with Panarin & Zibanejad as their #1A & #1B FWs.
Lightning fan here, and my comment will probably resonate for a lot of other teams right now. The current lineup on Daily Faceoff are not going to be the starting lineup in Tampa. There's no way Conor Sheary makes the team in Tampa... We see a lot of young players like Goncalves, Groshev and Geekie who are pushing to have a spot which could have a better impact. Although the majority of what is being said is true for the teams dynamics, I expect some younger faces to be added in the Tampa lineup 😀
I agree pre-season hockey is only productive for the coaching staff but, these may be the only game some people can afford to attend. I only watched highlights of the Rangers-Bruins game and agree with Andrew- Mancini caught my eye. We may never see him again but he showed some spunk out there as well as scoring a goal. LGR 2024-2025.
I knew the Rangers fans would actually have good takes about the islanders. All the other prediction videos on YT think the islanders are garbage. Thanks for being objective
I'll stand on the opinion that the Devils biggest issue last year and the biggest upgrade for this year will not be health, or improved D personnel, or goaltending. It's coaching. The one year they were able to be great was the year with Brunette on the staff. Then you go see what he does with a less talented lineup in Nashville last year while the Devils flounder again and really just look like a more talented version of the 21-22 team. I think they make the playoffs last year with good coaching and all the other issues. I don't think they make it last year if it's only one of those other problems solved.
Calgary will tank in '24-'25 NHL Season!
In Saskatchewan, Connor Bedard is legal to drink & purchase alcohol. But, always have a designated driver when going home.
"I commend them for not forcing this along like Detroit has" Tell me you don't know shit about building a team, without telling me you have zero clue on how to build a team lol. This is a w!ndow l!cker podcast lol
Yall dumb
Montreal has actual fans. They can rebuild for 10 years and still sell out the building every night. Thats why Montreal can rebuild and still succeed financially.
Detroit's plan is in no way trying to outscore their opponent. Eiserman has been consistent in trying to get the defense better and the free agent signs he's brought on have been to the effect of making the defense better. Sorry but you guys really have no idea what Detroit is trying to do or what their plan is or who even their potential top players are.
Dude this douche nugget on the left has zero clue as to what he's talking about and obviously hates the Wings.
Detroit should not have tried to trade for askarov. They have the best goalie pipeline in the NHL probably. With cossa and Trey Augustine
Downvote this crap.
I had to go look at Jensen/Fox. Ranger fans?? :( That didn't look malicious to me - maybe. By the way, the Hab's will be challenging for the playoffs, in them by next season.
Montreal will surprise and make the playoffs
no time stamps and no logo of the team ur talking about.. brothers please
These guys are trash, no clue and they have trash takes.
Sens will be bottom of the division, book it
Yeah zub was always good and has been loved by ottawa since day one. Think you were confusing him with someone else? Zaitsev maybe who was in fact garbage
Habs aren't a playoff team but I think they will surprise a few teams this year
Zub has always been loved in Ottawa. lol, you must be thinking of Zaitsev and Sens fans still don't like him. 4th line is not what you predict either. Cousins Ostapchuk/Halliday/Gregor/Crookshank/Perron/Amadio. Much better bottom six. Otherwise I think your predictions are pretty accurate.
weird takes on Ottawa.. Zub has been absolutely adored by fans since day 1 and has always been very steady on the ice, are you maybe mixing him up with Zaitsev?
keep in mind Detroit is much much older than the Sabres..like 4 full years older as a squad..been a fan of the Sabres a long time and if they dont surprise the hockey world this year? I will be stunned..as for Yzerman?? he is so overrated by the Detroit fans its laughable..he is a terrible GM
Most laughable take I’ve seen yet.
The Red Wings did not have enough luck in the draft…but did not do everything in their power to be bad enough for that rebuild.
Kaprizov will be a Ranger. Mark it! Good job guys. Wishing you the best. Keep ut up. Coloroda won't miss the playoffs though. Lol
On the Senators, Zub was never hated, perhaps you are confusing him with Zaitsev, the previous Russian defenseman who was hated.
came here to say exactly that. Zub is solid and always has been. top 3-4 on any team.
Dude has literally had his name chanted every game since he came over 😂
lol Chicago rebuild has been to long ?? lol opposite what I hear and think, your also the first to crap on Nashville, “getting guys on the wrong side of 30… lmfao stamps and marshy!!! 500 goal scorer and a con smyth… Minnesota will not fight for playoff spot .. oh and Nashville not a team that can win a cup is where I turned this off… oh and Minnesota was as talented as Colorado cause apparently the avalanche aren’t very deep!!! lol Norris trophy and a hart trophy … prolly say my flames look good lol or else they r leaf fans…
Your point about the tweeting doesn’t make too much sense though…sure it’s wrong to jump the gun (on the condition their family hadn’t been informed first) but that news HAD TO BE BROKEN eventually. You can’t just put all the anger on the first person who broke the news even if it’s bad news you don’t want to hear.
Tragedy in every sense of the word. Just awful😢
Thank you so much for your empathic and sensitive words, much appreciated. It's such a tragedy, what's happened. My deepest condolences to the Gaudreau family.
Rangers fan here and I just found your podcast. I’ve been a big fan of Johnny Hockey since he came into the league and this is so fucking sad and senseless.
I'm really upset over what happened. Fucking bullshit.
Any chance Kenny would take that job? Or does he prefer the free agent life calling multiple sports and networks?
I do, however, think that they'd overpaid Mika Zibanejad & I agree with you that LaF, Kakko & Chytil are, at best, only good 3rd Line Players, even though LaF is doing better. As you say in your video, he's not any type of Superstar, as Jack Eichel is. Let me know what you think
I agree about The Jack Eichel Trade that was never made. I think that they could have even done it without sending Mika Zibanejad the other way, if the Jacob Trouba Trade was never made. Let me know what you think
Great Video, as usual, guys. I don't think that you're wrong on many of these things, but, I think that Alain Vigneault had them playing an Offensive Game, but, as you said, many of these players (especially the Defense) was starting to get Older & Should Have Been On Their Way Out (AV should've tried Eric Staal on The Top Line when they got him). Let me know what you think
dolan is the nhl's jerry jones...they care about being 'competitive. making money, but ultimately winning a championship is only gravy
like the show, but the chesney guy knows nothing about sports. love when he refers to players just not caring, or when he talks about coaching (btw, great coaches have great players, crappy coaches have a crappy roster). like the other guy, he is good at contextualizing his analysis.
this formula just does not work. do not care about anything but winning a cup! trade the goalie for as much as you can and start over again....please. been watching since 70/71 have seen 1 cup in 54 seasons.
