Mamma Mia Vlog / Last Show of Senior Year

Hey everyone! This video is so long over due, but I've been so busy this summer so don't kill me. This is my first vlog I've made, but it follows my last show in high school! I played Tanya in the musical Mamma Mia. Again, this is my first vlog, so if it doesn't really make sense, I apologize but I like to think it adds charm. THEY RUINED IT FOR ME WITH THE SHITTY MUSIC!! BG
First of all before I be critical that congrats on doing a good job with the short. They aren't easy to make so I give you two thumbs up for that. This short was tough to love for me. If you feel bad for Jasper the boyfriend and just dislike Scarlett, I don't think you wrote it for it to be that way lol. I have to say I felt bad for Jasper the boyfriend, just break up with the guy before he spends money to fly and see you and be honest to the person you have feelings for too that you have a boyfriend. No matter whatever sexuality you are, no excuse to be cruel and mean to someone who clearly cares for you and you clearly don't. I thought Scarlet came off like a bit of dick to him and I felt no sympathy for her at all. The fact she hit on Jade right in front of him was a shitty thing to do. The actor playing him made him so likeable too which didn't help. I did think the actress who played Scarlett looked a bit like Saoirse Ronan.

Shoaaaaaark ❤
sometimes it's nice to say that out loud......but i do still feel closeted.....a really good short film..i love it!! hoping to watch a part 2 of this in the future!
O m g we seriously need part 2
That poor ex boyfriend, such a horrible way to treat him.
Claustrophobic inside blinds down crowded and stilted conversation
Best short I've seen in quite a while. Good script, great acting. 👍
Thank you ❤
Really sweet film; just right chemistry between all the characters, good acting, script simple but effective. Love stories about lesbians that doesn’t focus on misery or drama. Just real lives. Only critique; why choose the word “Gay” not Lesbian? L is the First letter of the alphabet, yet as the only female word in the rainbow it is the most ignored and vilified. Let the character use it courageously, so other girls and young women hear it and don’t have to feel shame for being “Lezzies”. Pride! Let the characters be proud.
Just noticed in the blurb you use “queer love”… again not lesbian love. 🤔 “The L Word” title specifically refers to the forbidden and taboo aspect of the word Lesbian in our culture… and that was 30y ago(?). It’s a reference to the coloquial “F Word” a dirty/taboo word we are not aloud to say. For young women this obscuring of women loving women makes it hard for them to even FIND lesbian material, for example I’m not sure even this film would appear in search. I have this problem on streaming services now. Lesbians aren’t even named. There’s a lot written in this topic, thanks for reflecting on it 🤗
@@GreenMyrtle Hi! Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I have found for me, the word queer and gay is the easiest word to use to identify MYSELF. I feel like even just bi and lesbian can be a little restricting and queer is a good umbrella term. Scarlet doesn’t really know her identity and she may not even be a lesbian, all she knows is she likes Jade and gay was the best word for her to use in that moment. I felt like, yes it is a wlw story but I don’t know if I can label it a lesbian love because they haven’t said they are lesbians. I hope that helps answer your question and I’m happy to answer more!
You still found it to watch though, yes? @@GreenMyrtle
Gostei,fofas elas.
Really enjoyed this. Isaac's character was a great addition.

😊
Loved this film.
Nice short film - love this young couple’s obvious attraction - this needs to be a movie! ❤ Theres a lot of ‘before’ and ‘after’ to this story. Maybe a part 1 and a part 3? That would make this part 2! lol
Lovely short film… 😍
I LIVE U AND THIS VLOG BAHAHAHAHAH 😫🥺💪🏼
