I am rewatching videos to help sharpen Apollo’s heel back up - I think I’ve let him get a little too far ahead of me. These are helpful
I’m in the process of moving Brinks through this, so in the coming weeks you’ll see a dog with NO prior heeling work. Those will be more helpful for you in terms of corrective turns.

How come if I am all by myself in a park or field like that training my dog...never fails...that someone always shows up and ruin everything for me.

Don't have an animal if you have to leave it alone in a cage.
This dog has eaten a wall when left out unsupervised, so we will agree to disagree on the crate training stance.

Crate training is healthy. And if more people got them instead of letting their house be chewed up because let’s face it. Most people can’t train their dogs.
@@isamargt Yes. At this time allowing the dog total freedom would result in both damage to the owner's property and possible injury to the dog. The crate is certainly preferable to the dog hurting themselves and introduced properly is a comfortable place for the dog to relax when unsupervised.

would the dog still sit - stay if there were more distractions and more excited surrounding with people that the dog is unfamiliar with? Does the book Koehler method of dog training include this?
Yes! The concept is that you start with a low distraction environment and work up to heavy distractions.
I watched a few of your video, and i like them a lot. One question, is this your own dog, or do you train it for someone else?
Thank you for the feedback! The dog in this video is my personal dog, Bane, and these were submitted for a class. However, I have worked with other dogs that I do not own in the past.
