Did you end up using the bigger metal molding clips for the top door trim? I had to use them on mine, all the plastic ones didn’t work. I used the small metal clips for the bottom trim.

You put that together wrong. That long screw does not go on that slide bracket .

How do you get to the nuts behind the 283 emblem and the trim below it? There’s no access from what I could tell on mine

If you're replacing the sender make sure it's a 90 ohm unit or your factory gauge won't read right I replaced a 130 ohm aftermarket sender with the correct part numbered NOS sender I found on eBay to fix the problem a previous owner caused with my 65

Well oops I already put the damn vent window BACK IN! Obviously I read the book AFTER I started. Well I will be starting OVER. Thank you for sharing your time.

Do you have issues with the blades bending from wind when you roll with the window down? Mine bend around 35mph😩🤬

So it’s better to install the door windows first ? Then the vent window?

I have a 64 SS convertible. Somewhere along it’s life the doors were replaced. They must have come off a hard top as the wing windows came to a point and conflicted with the header bow of the convertible top. The wing windows in your video are flat on top and for a convertible.

I just put on the aftermarket on my 63 impala. It fit ok. But had to cut to clear my tires.

Damn homie, I know this video is old and idk if you see these messages but thanks for the info.. your the only one that has a video demonstrating 1st of all how you do the installation. Plus…!! telling people what is obvious especially if you’ve ever bought any after market parts that sometimes your gonna have to mod things yourself in order to make things fit. The second , which maybe to some people very small knowledge but if you don’t know you don’t know tu sabes, but I’m new to the game . I’ve been all up on old school rides and know the years just by looking at them and have a 65 S.S and a Lincoln Cartier Town Car. As much as I know bout these beautiful cars I always thought the kits where a nice add on touch sooo I didn’t know that the Continental kits people are putting as the 5th rim , the one that exposes the rim that’s all it is they cut the rim to make it fit.. in my head I’m like 😮🤨 like wth WHY…???? it’s like defeating the purpose of a spare tire and rim , idk I guess to each there own. Idk if those kits can’t fit the tire in it I can only assume which I don’t like to do maybe if you read this you can give an answer as into maybe why🤷🏽… But thank you for showing what it looks like and time spent with an actual tire and rim and big ups and props on your ride looks clean much respect ✊🏽 homeboy…
