Whatever happened to Bleu Edmondson?? He was the real deal. A genius singer, songwriter and live performer who was the missing link between Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen, Mark Germino and Lucero's Ben Nichols.

"Pieces" is among Kacey's best songs. That "little flame", stoked by lovely rhythm and lead guitar, generates a personable warmth of earnest observation and self-discovery that has distinguished Musgraves as a superlative composer and vocalist of slower-tempo songs. (Better quality in the drum kit, and at times a more delicate touch, would have been more suitable.)
