Hiking day. Early morning hike around the gorge by the Inn to going back and grabbing them and headed out to Boston and Blue Hen Falls and back. Got soaked on the way back from Town. Changed and headed out for Xaviers birthday lunch and hike the Ledges.

Day 1 of our Trip. The Way too the Park and our awesome Room. One of the Best Room you can have have in this park. Checked off First Lady and visited McKinley Memorial. Due to It being Hall of Fame Week. We did no football stuff. Video of the falls before and after inch or more of rain in afternoon storm.  The Inn at Brandywine Falls is a Great Place stay.

    I'm currently camping at Buchanan SF. Sideling Hill, Summit Road site 29. The view is fantastic! It overlooks the valley below. Much the same view as Summit Road Overlook. A few miles to the north. I'll be checking out the CCC Camp tomorrow.

      Same as I. I have done most of this section already before besides the last couple miles. I hiked every where back here in clarks valley since i was kid. And around the mount gretna area too. But there still 75 to 80 miles that i haven’t done yet. My next hike on Sunday. Im going to try to hit Milton Hershey school/322. 🥾

    This is Bushkill falls and the Pinchot house. Neither of those are in the Delaware Water Gap National recreation area.

      This video is labeled the way it is. Because it was my trip to the Delaware water gap. I don’t share my videos to any social media for views. I blog my adventures here to look back on a rainy day. Im sorry that my Title doesn’t suit you. I can’t label everything. Not enough spaces when you post the video. You also forgot to mention the three state parks too that are in the water gap too. Maybe i did want to make 7 different videos of my weekend. And come on. Bushkills is private, But its a must see in the water gap. And technically it sits on the boarder.

      Yeah. The in this video it on the Pa side. North entrance on 209. Right below where 206 crosses the river to New Jersey. You use to drive through a gate/entrance stand back in the day. Now there is pull off and trailhead for some trail there.

    We have been to Cuyagoga for a day trip, but just did a few hikes. I didn't realize there were so many things to see there besides the park. I always enjoy the historical stuff.

      First lady and McKinley are in Canton. 30 mins away. I still have two more days to do. But our room at the falls was awesome. Rated one of the best rooms to stay at a national park

      @@billsteezie641 Im am big Hiker. So hiking golf course really are not bad for me to do couple mikes. But if your out of shape. This course is a lot up and down. It will wear you out by the end of the round. Great place. I loved it.

    Excellent Video.... I am planning an early November BikeRide through the battlefield and like you I had never done that before... Bike riding replicates horseback travel that obviously was the world to these men... Great information you covered everything...you accentuated the fact that it's most beautiful when desolate as possible... Magnificent...Thanks

      I grew up not to far away. The Best way to See Gettysburg is by Bike. And there is alot more than just the Auto Tour. If you flip through my videos. You will find multiple Gettysburg videos. Have fun. Little roundtop just reopened after a good Make over

      I love my gravel bike. You cover more distance than hiking. And there is always cool stuff along the way usually on rail trails. But there are some with nothing. Just a trail. This is little short trail, nothing big. Part of the reading to columbia line. I think having a bike is nice. I like touring Battlefield by bike alot when i go to them.

      The old Western Maryland line. This runs from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. The great Allegheny passage and C &O canal.

    This state park is on my list. We were planning to see it a few weeks ago. I had thought we were closer when we traveled to central pa but we were still three hours from Ohio Pyle. You showed it off well. 👍1

      You will have fun here. Great little town. Bring your bikes or rent bikes. The Great Allegheny Passage goes right through here. Couple national sites are not far. And there are about 4 to 5 State parks with in hour or little more from here. Spent 5 days there. Could have spent more. Rent a Yurt for week.

      Not that bad with multiple people. We just did 15 mile one in Frostburg on Sunday for father’s. Just got back from A 5 days stay at Ohiopyle State Park.

      I followed two guys in a cart. Thats it. It was private country club that morning. It was supposed to rain that day. And heavy rain came in right after i got done. But i tee off early. 6am to 6:30 usually. But this course is awesome. It rated one of the best public courses in PA. I drove about hour and half. And I thought this video turned out nice. Kind hard to film trying to play golf. To much thinking.

    This was a good hike. I did this before. Parked in the same lot. I hiked clockwise though. How about those views at the top? Some people say these are the best views on the Appalachian trail in PA. Glad you made it to the pinnacle. I didn’t go that far. 👍

      I love big valley shots. I been here multiple times. But it was Becky first time, and she loved it. I told her we could drive to the firetower. But she wanted to hike it. Love that girl.

      THIS ONE IS ON THE SOUTH EAST SIDE OF READING.. REALLY CLOSE TO NODLE FOREST STATE PARK.. BUT YOU HAVE AWESOME COURESE UP AROUND YOUR AREA... GOLF IS GREAT.. I GOT BACK INTO LAST SUMMER AFTER COUPLE YEAR BREAK FROM WHEN I BLEW MY KNEE OUT AND SPERATED MY SHOULDER.....FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK SWINGING

      Well, i see your name and not sure if you know this. But Ricketts Glenn State Park was going to be a National Park but WW2 started, funds went elsewhere. It became a National Natural Area and it fell to the state as state Park. But I got iced out on the one gorge. But there are two gorges here with over 30 waterfalls on a 6 to 8 mile hike depending on where you start. I recommend going back through my videos to a fall hike here and watch it. That big waterfall that you last in this video is a 92 foot waterfall. This place is worth coming to Pa for if you don’t live here. Hit the trail early, this place can get packed

    Thanks for showing us these parks. I've never been to any of these. Do you collect the passport stamps for the state parks? I recently learned that you can email the PA parks and forest organization if you have missing any passport stamps and they will mail them to you. Sometimes when we visit the offices aren't open or they dont have the stamps out.

      Most parks have them by the maps at the office outside for when they are closed. But they run out quick sometimes. As more people are doing the PA state park passport. Im bin to 85 parks of the 124 and have about 3/4 of the front check list done. But i had my book for years.

    Nice job filming and hiking. I love trails like this that travel with a stream. I think I saw the log move when kid pushed it. Also, great job having a beginning where you drive up, and ending it getting back in the car. You completed the story. Most people don’t do this in their videos. 👍

      Thanks dude. We where doing some trail maintenance out there. I help keep section 1 & 2 on Mid state trail clear. Pa longest trail. Runs from pa board to the new york line. Look it up if you never heard of it. Its a tuff trail. Some spots are not maintained.

      Only if i got first tracks in the snow the hole way. Love clarks valley. One of my local go to areas. I live in hummlestown pa. Right by Hershey.

    Looks like an awesome day hike. Snow looked pretty deep in some spots.

      It was. From the vista over the mountain was ankle to knee deep. And took about 45 mins to cross devils racecourse with all the snow. There are some real deep holes between the rocks. Had to be careful.

      Your video are nice to watch too. I don’t use a gopro at all. Just my phone. I like the underwater shots you do. 👍.
